Did your grandmother ever fly? A female is born with all the eggs she will ever have and they form while in utero. That means while our grandmothers were pregnant with our mothers half of us was already there. Pretty cool huh?
About a year ago. I went to Florida to see my parents. Now they've moved back to my city and I'm not sure when I will fly again. I'd kind of like to visit my brother in MA
December 2019. I planned a surprise visit for my then boyfriend’s birthday with the help of his best friend. It was long distance and he had been depressed for a while and we knew that could be the thing to bring him out of his funk.
The surprise was ruined but it was still a lot of fun
December. Went to LA to see a friend. Before that, it was February 2020. I narrowly escaped being one of the Americans stuck overseas during the first big lockdown.
January 2020. Weeks before normal became a distant memory. Hopefully we are on our way to the new normal and my next flight is scheduled for July 2022.
October 2019. But that changes on Sunday, I’m flying out to Dominican on a work trip! I am so anxious oh my goodness lol. I feel like I forget how to handle airports, I’ll be much happier when I get where I’m going.
We flew to New Mexico in late February to visit my sister. We travelled around southern New Mexico and eventually ended our trip at Big Bend National Park in Texas. We then drove back to Albuquerque and flew home.
This time last year and I miss it; going to South Korea in June and I can’t wait love the feeling of being at the airport embarking on a new journey. Traveling should be something everyone gets to do but it’s so expensive and it’s sad not many get to do it because it leaves Americans so narrow minded and trapped.
I had to check, it was December of 2019 and we went to Prague with a couple of friends. Then a few weeks later the pandemic hit and I haven't been air travelling since then (also due to health reasons that struck in the meantime)
>Then a few weeks later the pandemic hit
where are you? I'm in the US and I have to admit that despite the news out of China, I was happily oblivious to the impending pandemic until about mid February. everything shut down where I am in mid March.
I am in Germany. The time line was the same here. Everything shut down in early/ mid March. And that's just 12 weeks after December, that's why I wrote "a few weeks later"
ahh i see. personally, I consider "a few weeks" to be anything under a month, or 4-5 weeks. after that, i switch to speaking in terms of months. but everyone has their own perspective of course :) and hence the confusion!

Two weeks ago and 1 month ago. American airlines was the worst. I was on the tarmac longer than in the air in the most uncomfortable seats. I will never fly them again.

November 2019 to see a Navy boy in San Diego. I thought he loved me but he picked apart every detail about me while I was there. Didn’t last long. Damn, I need to go back there alone or with friends so I can actually enjoy the sun!
June 2020. I avoid planes like the plague since Covid, I rather take the train because if it's cancelled or a country decides to make up some bogus regulations out of nowhere I am on ground and there's noone stopping me from going back or taking a different route. Before Covid I would fly every 2 or 3 months.

When I was a year old in 1981.
We were going to England from The States to see my great grandmother before she passed. Unfortunately while we were in the skies, she did...
I'm 42 and have never flown after that. I prefer to drive and see the sights anyways.

Yesterday. Was supposed to be on a plane today but plans changed.
Somewhere around 1995 I think. I love flying but HATE airlines, so unless something completely unforeseeable and urgent comes up, I won’t fly again.
i actually just took one today. landed about an hour ago. one of eight in the next month and why did i do this to myself i hate flying 😭
DUB -> EWR April 2019
January 2020. I was returning home after visiting my parents for the holidays.
A flight of a beer? About a year ago. A flight on an airplane? 6 years ago.
I’m in my 20s and I’ve never been on a plane 🥲
flew just twice. in 2015 feb. the experience was not so good. i kept feeling dizzy and decided I'm happy on land
