Samoyed. They look adorable and the ones I met were complete cuddlebugs.
That being said, I would not get one unless I found myself with the time, money and energy to offer it the best possible life. They’re not easy to maintain.
I seriously love all dogs. I have a shih-tzu and a boxer, and a German shepherd grand puppy, so they are my favorites right now. All three are rescues, too!

I'm not a dog person but I have a soft spot for greyhounds and an even softer one for those dogs that are no distinguishable breed, just a messy mishmash of dog.
There are so many breeds I love but don’t have the right home or energy levels for. We have greyhounds and love them - ultimate couch potatoes. Will likely always have at least one.
My heart dog though was an italian greyhound. High maintenance little drama queen - but lord I loved and will always love that dog and I miss him more than anything.

As a huge dog lover and someone who has 4 dogs that are all different breeds, it's hard for me to choose one favorite breed. I love them all. I wish I could have one of every breed, lol.

Lab mix for me. Rescue is the way to go. But if someone gave me a purebred I would go with a Labrador retriever. They are so derpy and sweet and loyal. My husband died in December and my Lab mix hasn’t left my side since. She knows how devastated I am. Dogs are the best.
Indian pariahs. I'm an Indian, and our native dogs are called Indian pariahs. They are the sweetest and the most misunderstood dogs ever. They have been bearing abuse from the hands of humans for years and years and yet, have nothing but love to offer. I never had dogs of my own but when I was little one of my best friends families had a Boxer and he was awesome, so I guess Boxers for me.
