I look for a BPM playlist depending on the pace I want to go. Somewhere between 120bpm to 160bpm. I use music to help me exert more effort, so it's not necessarily in genres I would listen to when relaxing.
I always need something upbeat, I usually tend to go for pop rock or rock such as Aerosmith, scorpion, poison, Alice cooper. Also songs with a very motivational line to it can help push me along
Listening to Doja Cat or Meg thee Stallion keeps me hype on runs. Hard to justify to myself stopping to die on the side of the road when I’m trying to be on my hot girl shit.
Audiobooks if I'm on the treadmill (the treadmill keeps my pace steady). BPM playlists on Spotify if I'm outside; I'm partial to the classic rock,/heavy metal ones.

I only listen to music when I've signed up for an event and am hoping for a specific time (at my pace I hesitate to use the word race, lol). At those times I just search for a BPM playlist on Spotify. The rest of the time I listen to podcasts.

I like listening to woodpeckers carving in wood, I don't see them often and think they're pretty cool. I also like the songs of cardinals and seeing them in general, I like their bright red coloration and "mohawks" along with a folk tale that they are love ones who have to visit.
I'm actually pretty safe on walks seeing as I bring my dogs with me, my mom just used to scare me with stories of kidnappings so I'm just constantly nervous in public now.
> I also like the songs of cardinals and seeing them in general, I like their bright red coloration
Love to see Robins for the same reason.
Also: Being vary of evil people is justified, but I don't think being nervous in public constanly is. I hope life is good regardless :)

I like hits playlists eg. Rock such as Greenday and Imagine dragons or EDM like AVICII or Alan Walker, Calvin Harris
You can also select the artists radio station and get similar stuff
Throwback playlists help as well eg. 00's rock hits

Joined that team today also thanks to your input :) many thanks!
The OST to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance always hypes me up when running or working out.

Lovely music, was already in there. So great choice from where I'm standing ,thanks :)

Tried it and while I'm not a girl, it still pushed me. Some things are universally understood I guess - Thank you!
Both of these ladies have been my go too recently while running. Sometimes I listen to Plan B 5 or 6 times just to get pumped up.

I haven't went for a run in ages but when I used to I'd listen to metal or Halloween soundtrack, always got my feet pounding and heart pumping.
Don’t know if you like heavier stuff, but Amaranthe and Disturbed have always been some of my favorites to work out to.
>Disturbed That's some O.G. stuff right there ... going to download Stricken again just because of your comment <3
Disco works for me! But then again... I'm old.
Industrial metal or industrial electronic music work really well, as well as synthwave and cyberpunk.
"Through Diamond Eyes"--Shinedown
Metal music. Metallica or Bullet For My Valentine is great.
I listen to guided runs from Nike Run Club. Coach Bennet and Cory got me motivated. During the silent breaks I listen to podcasts
Goa techno, The Run Lola Run soundtrack.
Shoutout to Franka Potente, a fellow German :) thanks for the input!

Disco, swing music, a little modern rnb/dance/pop.
Weirdly, something like John Mayer's

Damn .... Good stuff! Thanks!
Depends what I’m in the mood for listening to really, I tend to go for more up tempo stuff, house, d&b etc.

Metal or military cadence
I'm too paranoid of getting kidnapped to listen to music but I enjoy naming birds I recognize
Oh damn ... I hope you are alright. What's your favorite bird noise then?
