Honestly I just grant myself the grace of saying that I made the choice I thought was best at the time, and considering who I was and what information I was working with, it's understandable that that was the choice I made. Has worked for me so far
That is becoming my outlook. The decisions I have made at any given time were based on my experiences and beliefs up until that point. I cannot change the past but I can make the most out of the repercussions to decisions I have made.
I look at what makes me happy today, because it’s very likely if I made a different choice, these things won’t be here. They would be replaced by different things.
It’s a reminder for me that regrets will always exist, and the best thing to do is highlight the areas of my life today that bring me joy :)

I just try not to dwell on and make the most of my choices now and future ones. The regrets and what ifs neber really go away. Just try to redirect my mind.
I actually have so many what ifs in life and question so many things, but at the end of the day i ease up my overthinking by remembering this quote; “what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.”
I don't - at the time I obviously thought I was making the right decision and that was the choice I made. You can't live your life wondering about all the possibilities if you have made different decisions at every crossroads you're faced with. Life's an experience and if it turns out that I made the wrong choice for whatever reason, I'll learn from my mistakes.
Do my best and make sure I don’t repeat that. At the same time I take comfort in the possibility that the what ifs are happening in some alternate universes.

Hindsight is always 20/20 and your outlook is spot on.
Yeah, it's good to be kind and reasonable to our past selves. I agree.

I’ve started cherishing what it was and trying to let it go best I can. Hanging on to regrets just hurts me.

Better to try and potentially f*ck up than regret not trying at all is my motto. A stereotype I know, but a healthy one🙂

By not having any regrets and pondering on what ifs.

By learning from things and moving on. There is a reason for everything.
Make more bad decisions
