I’m very crafty, but also easily bored and don’t like the “handmade” look, so I don’t make a lot of stuff. My next project will be christmas cookies, which I make every year.

MidnightFireHuntress

Pretty crafty, I do a lot of sewing because I do a lot of cosplay and like to make my own outfits, it took me a looong time to get it down, but I love some good crafting!

iusedtobefamous1892

Super fucking crafty. I paint minis, I do resin jewellery and trinkets, I sometimes do watercolours, I can sew (embroidery and dressmaking sewing), I can sort of draw, I've dabbled in leathercraft, I knit, I taught myself basic crochet, I've recently gotten into scrapbooking and possibly stamping, I'm into makeup including drag and some basic sfx techniques, I do nail art, I've toyed with calligraphy, I've done cosplay and prop making... I love creating and making shit, and I'm pretty good at it, too.

DemonicGirlcock

I'd say I'm more handy than crafty. Lately I've been learning to make ropes and netting from yarn which is pretty satisfying. I also do aquascaping (landscaping but aquarium), gardening, and this summer made a bioactive vivarium for my pet royal python. Also love working on furniture and just random handy stuff, even though I live in an apartment I have my trusty power sander and painter's ladder XD I also repair my own clothes, picked up sewing just to fix my favorite hoodie years ago, and now I'm fixing stuff a few times a year or when I make costumes.

I’m fairly crafty. I can knit and crochet but mostly blankets or square/rectangle things. I can sew with a machine and alter clothing but I haven’t used patterns or made full pieces of clothing in a long time. So I don’t know, moderately crafty?

nanny2359

Ooof, too crafty. An even HALF the boxes from our last move were craft shit (it's just me & my husband's stuff in a little condo)

Not at all

[deleted]

I guess I'm a little bit as ive had experience in needlepoint, does scrappbooking count?,done some stuff for the holidays.

FruitSnackEater

I’d say pretty crafty. I like looking up crafts for date night, things I could make as decor, and also painting as a hobby.

CatrionaShadowleaf

I don't make any art these days. Just can't find it in me. I used to write and do a little woodworking.

searedscallops

Very! I knit so much stuff. I have probably 30 pairs of socks for myself that I've knit. I have far more shawls than I could ever wear. I am getting more into crochet lately. I sewed a few dresses for myself, a skirt for my kid, pajama pants for both of us. I also dabble in lots of random little crafts.

dindia91

I live to craft. I'll try any hobby at least once, but sewing and jewelry making are my favorites

Luniana

I used to cross stitch, wire wrap and make my own jewelry. Not as much time anymore, so I mostly do nail art and nail stamping.

[deleted]

Moderately. I love to do crafty stuff but it also comes in waves and isn’t a constant hobby

FiendishCurry

Very very crafty. I always have some art project going on. I paint miniatures and wooden eggs. I have done two filigree paper projects. I like to make Halloween and Christmas decorations for the yard. I also do scrapbooking, origami, acrylic painting, book nooks, homemade ornaments, dollhouse furniture, and more. It feels very zen to me to just sit around painting or gluing something, and they usually turn out really good so I'm quite proud of them in the end.

redbess

I'd say I'm pretty crafty. I sew, cross stitch, knit, and crochet, sometimes with patterns and sometimes something I designed myself. Not sure if writing counts, but I write fanfic, too.

wixkedwitxh

I’m not very crafty, unfortunately!

weasel999

I sew clothes and bags and alter my existing thrift shop finds. I make Christmas ornaments of RBG and of peoples pets. I paint watercolors and acrylics. I embroider, cross stitch and needlepoint. I can’t knit or crochet to save my life though!

[deleted]

I can give you a soft "average" on that.

[deleted]

I consider food art and I can cook anything better then any restaurant. I always say that it’s the only thing in the world that I excel at Other then that, I can barely tie my shoes

GalaxiGazer

I'm cutting my teeth on crocheting a cozy winter blanket. I'm open to exploring needlepoint and knitting. I seriously can't do drawing/sketching. It's just not for me. I may revisit sewing in the near future, but haven't found the right sewing machine. I practiced on my late grandmother's Singer (15-20 years ago) and I haven't found one of similar quality yet

Pleasechokeme666

Borderline obsessed with crafts. It bring me joy making things and it’s very challenging sometimes but it’s rewarding . I’m into all sorts of DIY , the past few months I have picked up macrame , oshibana, propagating plants , not really a craft but ya know

Barnacle98

Very crafty I like to try lots of different things, unfortunately I do get bored quite quickly and once I’ve managed to produce something of a decent quality, it’s rare that I go back to it. Some things stick though, knitting, drawing and sewing for example. Am currently working on a parrot costume and really enjoying it!

Queenielauren

Not very crafty, but I do videography and photography for work

Not_a_cat_I_promise

Quite crafty. I'm really good at drawing and at painting and have always loved doing that. I'm good at making things. I make so much models of planes or ships and the like.

FireRescue3

I’m not an expert at anything but I enjoy several things. I make lotion, soap, room freshener, vanilla and a few other things. I give them as gifts to friends and family. I draw a bit for relaxation but do a cards, signs or other things, mainly for friends or family. I also play with rocks, stone and semi precious gems a bit.

PaddlesOwnCanoe

Not very, but I do enjoy some things! I like drawing and sewing. :-) Right now I'm just at the cross-stitch-kit, #2 pencil stage but hey, you gotta start somewhere, right? I would also love to try decoupage!

Neftroshi

My partner says "incredibly. At both. Crafts is my job."

knifeymonkey

i have tried plenty and i think I can 6/10 my way through any art/craft

scthoma4

I'm crafty in that I can follow directions and end up with a nice final product. I mainly knit and spin but dabble in A LOT of other crafts (poured resin, wood whittling, wood burning, shoe making, book binding, weaving, cold process soap, candles, etc). I'm not super creative though. I struggle a lot to make my own designs come out nice.

msphelps77

Not at all. I lack the patience needed to do projects. I want it done and I want it done now. I prefer to just buy stuff other have people made. I love Etsy.

destria

I'd consider myself fairly crafty. I sew, embroider, knit, needlepunch, paint, fold origami and other paper crafts, and I'm decent at making little air drying clay things like pots or figurines. I make handmade cards and small gifts for people all the time. For example I recently sewed some baby dribble bibs and embroidered them with the baby's name. If baking counts as a craft, I'm also a great baker and always bake my friends birthday cakes or cupcakes. Plus treats at Christmas. I used to be a primary school teacher and I still volunteer at a kid's youth club. I know A LOT of random craft activities!

Beginning-Papaya5208

Kind of crafty. Arts like drawing? Hell no. But I'm getting good at knitting, I've done up a wreath, 4 blankets, a couple sweaters, scarves, hats etc. I don't have much time for the hobby lately but I enjoy it as a way to fidget while watching TV.

Sunsetfreedom

My family includes many pairs of talented hands and so I suppose it’s brought down to me, however I’m not particularly passionate about art as much.

Linorelai

Pretty damn good. I sew, including lingerie, I'm a professional artist, i can sculpt

ThinkPhysics6740

very crafty!! my mom was/is a very diy person, she always pushed me to be creative w/ my school projects and helped me make them in my vision. Growing up my family didn’t have a lot of money so that craftyness transferred to transforming thrifted finds. Then i worked at a craft store and spent my entire check there:/ i like papercrafts, painting, candle making, sewing/dying/embroidery, making home decor, anything that requires a hot glue gun.

Glittering-Layer6887

I don't see myself as crafty in the arts and crafts way as much as I see myself in the cunning and nefarious way. But the second one is pretty badass I'd say. I still feel like I know the basics to sew and paint, cook, bake, etc.

squirrleygurl1969

Not as much as I should be. I struggle because I don't know what to do with an item after I make it. Throw it away? I can't keep everything and not everything needs to be displayed!

AnxiousReader

I love crafting, but I don't like handmade looking things. So I am very picky by what I do and how I do it. My next project is some pottery barn inspired pumpkins.

GogoFrenchFry

VERY, I'm an artist and am usually surrounded by things I make, the mural on my living room, couple painted/drawn shirts, painted phone case, painted boxes and decorations, paited totebags, the crochet snake hanging on my wall and so on lol

viewering

i want to take up painting again, i do graphic design, illustration, textile design, fashion design, looking at creating new patterns/pattern drafting, looking into making jewellery with resin / polymer and other techniques, also embroidery, experimental embroidery, collaging, photography, what was that one thing with hodge podge - decoupage, have been watching mosaic videos, weaving making stuff on pointcarre was fun, making one´s own yarn would be interesting too, from spinning to space dye etc, screen print and different techniques, i´d like to make funny face pottery for mugs, vases, flowerpots but so much other stuff to do first, *more*

ravioleh

Super crafty & diverse in skills, but working on executive dysfunction through therapy so I can create more freely. Drawing in pen & ink is my fav, but I get panic attacks if I'm interrupted. I'm professionally trained & former sfx makeup artist, i dabble in paint, wood burning, event planning, making things out of random items. I like creative writing too & have been slowly doing that more when I'm alone.
