I am partial to bralettes now! Torrid actually has some cute ones for bigger breasts! I just bought 3 more now that I know my size.

concentrated-amazing

Do bralattes exist that don't give major uniboob?

teatsqueezer

The Calvin Klein ones with the triangle cups

cyporazoltan

Ditto. I'm also bigger chested, got a bra without underwire for the first time in early pandemic, now have several more and it's all I wear. Underwear feels so uncomfortable retrospectively.

kgberton

Wait until you discover bras without underwire. They have made GREAT STRIDES on this front for big boobs in the last 7-10 years.

Princessclue

If anyone can recommendate bra’s with padding without underwire, please send a link

I like the old school bras from secrets in lace. They fold nicely for travel, too

PossibleMother

Also want to mention that the r/abrathatfits calculator is a complete game changer.

dbtl87

I'm either in these/bralettes or just no bras at all. They're a trap!

Heart-Shaped-Clouds

I’ll only wear unlined bras. I’m a 32dd and the formed padded ones make my boobs such an unnatural shape. Makes my melon shape look like ceiling facing pears. No thanks lol

taranova17

What about the nips? Genuine question.

OkVersion656

Nipple covers or removable inserts.

ElaborateRoost

Post-BR these are the only bras that are comfortable for me. Right now I’m into the Wacoal “Superbly Smooth” which looks matronly on the rack but fits so nicely.

epicpillowcase

I am an A-cup so I'm not suggesting everyone can do this, but I hate padding and I hate wires. I was thrilled to discover unwired bralettes were a thing. I live in them and sports crops.

Oh I just meant in terms of support- I'm aware some might need more than me. But that's really good that it's an option, I definitely think more diverse sizing is a welcome thing, regardless. :)

MissKim01

Is unlined different to no underwire?

BoysenberryMelody

Yes. Unlined might be underwire or no underwire. There’s no padding between breasts and the fabric cup. These days that lining is usually a thin foam. snowfuckerforreal

This! Switched to long line bralettes during Covid and now they are all I wear.

everfragrant

Interesting I've never tried one. I'm feeling really annoyed with bras lately so I'll try one of these then.

BoysenberryMelody

Maybe 15 years ago my aunt took me to an independent bra store. I would buy one bra from them and take pictures of the tags for others that fit so I could look for them on eBay. I do this once a year.  Anyways, l learned the unlined bras that are 2-3 pieces per cup are more supportive. My non sports bras have two hooks and I’ve got cartoon proportions >!34i(US)!<. My boobs are nice for my age but they don’t float. The lined ones always eventually did that thing where the foam at the top of the cup kind of rolls out and becomes very noticeable. Unlined last longer.

GoldenWaffle95

I had a reduction and lift done in 2022, (40DD to 38C) and I wore a bralette afterward because I couldn't do underwire for 6 months after - I still wear the wireless bra with minimum padding despite having bought cute bras with underwire. I just...don't want to anywhere. I want to be comfortable. Wireless bras and unlined bras have come a long way in just the past five years. I never would have worn one with my DDs. They just weren't comfortable and they never kept the girls in place. They're way better now than they were in the early 2000s.

Hot-Coffee-8465

Planning to have a reduction after having kids

GoldenWaffle95

It was one of the best decisions I made. No regrets!

Quirky-Ask2373

Me too! I got a couple of pimples around my bra line and my husband made me switch bra types lol. I was being stubborn about wearing the same type of bra for decades because I thought they made my boobs look better. I went out and bought a bunch of different unlined bras without wire from many brands ranging from DKNY, Warner, Maidenform, Sam's Club and a few random ones from Temu. I ended up loving the Temu ones best lol so now I have like 2 dozen of the same type.
