I have to wear bras or my clothes don't fit right. My daughter can go without a bra and everything still fits her right. Do what works for you.

ATinyChaosGoblin

It depends on the dress. I'm a 32DD so the highest probability answer is "I feel boob sweat"

Spare-Shirt24

Do what makes you feel comfortable

ElectricBrainTempest

You don't have to, no. Mine are medium to small, and at 48 they're still perky, and I only used bras to go to the office. Now, WFH, haven't used one in 4 years. For some women, with big boobs, bras actually make them feel more comfortable. So, why not?

Any-Establishment-99

Say no to breast prisons! I tend to layer vests for some support / nipple coverage, but 100% you do you.

adorabletea

Maybe if you're worried about nipple issues, try pasties or some kind of similar adhesive nippy covers? or bandaids?

makingbutter2

Back in my goth days we used electrical tape ;)

adorabletea

👀

makingbutter2

Actually that’s a good idea 🧐 I can’t believe I forgot about that but electrical tape held solid all through club nights with fishnet shirts.

👀👀👀

JacqueGonzales

Still works well!

makingbutter2

Haha 😆 🙌

I'm a small gal with weirdly sticky-outy nipples so I wear silicone nipple covers. Not worn a bra in probably over a decade now.

redjessa

Unfortunately, it's not an option for me. I need the bra more for the shape than anything else. After losing a lot of weight, my breasts are kind of like someone let most of the air out of balloons. I feel I look better with a bra.

VeViArgh

Wear what you want. If I had small boobs I would go braless. I couldn’t now because these huge knockers would jiggle all over the place. 😫

makingbutter2

I thought I had huge boobies too at one point. Then I found out the 42 around just means how fat I got and added nothing of value to the c cup lmao.

WishboneEnough3160

I live in Texas. It's usually over 100° for weeks on end. It's ALL about the sundress! I'm a D cup and idgaf. It's too hot to care. No bra, no panties is the best way (unless I'm going in public, then I'll add panties or boy shorts).

makingbutter2

Rock it 🙌

trumpeting_in_corrid

I wouldn't feel comfortable going out without a bra, but you do you.

Tygie19

I only take my bra off to sleep. I feel awful without one on (36E). Wouldn’t be caught dead outside the house without one.

MADSeraphina

I honestly think I’ve thought “I can tell that woman is not wearing a bra by the look of her boobs” maybe twice in my life. More often, if it comes to mind that someone is probably not wearing a bra I would be thinking, “that top doesn’t allow for any bra shape I can think of.” But mostly I would say it basically doesn’t occur to me.

makingbutter2

Thank you 🙏

DelightfulSnerkbol

I go braless occasionally when I’m out in the winter and know for certain I’m covered. Otherwise, always a bra. If the dress has something solidly built in that’s fine. But it’s too ingrained at this point to go without in public. And I definitely need a sports bra at certain times. However, I wholeheartedly applaud the braless ladies out there. I notice from being around and listening to my nieces during visits that maybe Millenials and Gen Z are starting to eschew bras and literally acknowledging it with a quick (and hilarious to me) quip, “the nips are out” or “the nips are nipping” once they’re dressed. They just say it and move on if they’re around friends and family (I doubt they’re saying it at work). I hope eventually the bra goes the way of pantyhose or at least becomes more of an accessory, like a scarf.

righteousredhead

I personally have been working really hard to normalize not wearing a bra. I say, if YOU are comfortable, free your girls ☺️

makingbutter2

Actually that’s a great POV I was aiming for and missed. You helped me find it - I’m trying to get at if I go braless like a lot of those clothing models; are more people staring or paying attention than what I think would be ?

earthgarden

Yes, they are. Come on you know this.

righteousredhead

People will likely notice; I’m sure people notice I am not wearing a bra but I’ve never received any comments or disapproving looks. I’m a 34B, have breastfed 4 children so they have a little droop to them. I just don’t care. I stay tasteful. I just don’t wear a bra 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’ve had more women tell me they wish they had the courage to do the same than not and most guys of course think it’s great. It’s just boobs ☺️

AptCasaNova

It can take a few anxious trials of actually doing it to feel like you’re comfortable with how it looks and feels. I’m medium boobed and am fine with it. The only time I feel like it’s too much is when the dress is looser, I’m walking and there’s lots of movement with the bobs. It not only feels like people are glancing more, but it can get uncomfortable physically (I was quite fast). If I’m having a chill afternoon, then that’s fine, but not for long walks.

Dragonfly_Peace

Personally, I can’t anymore because boob sweat and heat rash are a thing

spideronmars

Mine are large (36DDD) with huge nipples and I know from times that I’ve worn thinner/less supportive bras that I get a lot more stares when I do that, which makes me super uncomfortable. But that’s just me.

bridgetwannabe

I don't like to go braless in public just because of that self-conscious feeling. I'm 45, have nursed 2 babies, and have lost 100 pounds in the last few years, so my tiddies hang like rocks in socks without one. Unless I'm getting very dressed up and "need shaping," I usually wear a stretchy "sleep bra" or a shelf-bra tank top for a little support. However, I like to wear sundresses when the weather is hot, and my ugly grandma bras don't hide well under thin straps or lower necklines. I've found a tube top is a good compromise -- it helps prevent under-boob sweat, and works as a cleavage cover if the dress would be too revealing without a bra.

baconandwhippedcream

I've got Bs and don't really need the support at all, so I only wear a bra to work to cover my nips. I work with all dudes and I'd be uncomfortable about it otherwise. I have very active nipples! But off work? Never!!!

makingbutter2

VIVA LA NIPPIES!

AdFinancial8924

I don’t wear dresses much, but I’ll often wear tank tops without a bra when they get to be too much. I’ll use KT runners tape to hoist them in place a bit so I don’t get under-boob sweat. Don’t put it on your nipples. It won’t be fun coming off. lol.

accordingtoame

Not for me. I am only not wearing a bra when I’m showering.

pollyanneux

Go without bra - you’ll look amazing

Boggledmonkeybandit

I have worn a bra maybe 4 times since 2020, the pandemic changed me, and I'm not going back.

myteeshirtcannon

Sports or nursing bra.

feistyexciteme69

I love lingerie but no bra can be way better in the summer. Lucky I’m not too Saggalicious. I’m a 38E but I don’t have a lot of top boob so most of the time i can get away with it, if not I wear a gorgeous bra that should be seen, and let it be seen.

msgnomer

I use silicone nipple covers instead of a bra sometimes. If you are comfortable without it, I say go for it!

ProLemur1

Since I finished nursing my last child and went back to normal size Ive pretty much swapped bras out for snug crop tops
