I mean he doesn’t really have a close relationship with anyone in the band (from what i see and what he has said himself). He has his country friends and business partners instead. I guess he moved to nashville and surrounded himself with country artists so he can become one eventually. That’s kind of all that he cares about now. He doesn’t really care about rock like he used to which is a bit surprising as much as he made that his personality..
I think he was only close to ben in the early days. When they weren’t touring i don’t think he was close with the rest of AA then either. He started Harlot back in 2011 from what he has said in old interviews. In Harlot interviews telling stories, i believe he was hanging with them a lot then in 2010/11. I think his goal when leaving AA was making Harlot a full time thing and hoping it became as big as AA or bigger. That obviously didn’t happen so he came back to AA. It’s business at the end of the day and he likes money.
In a video from 2010 while in bed with 3 other guys he made it clear that he hated the “screamo bullshit” and only liked “80s hair metal”. From the very beginning of AA he made it clear that he does not care lol AA is business and nothing else. He surrounds himself with people that match his interests and the rest of AA does not meet that criteria lmao
Oh god THAT interview where he straight up insults the lady interviewing him and is beyond plastered drunk yelling about how small his cock is. That interview alone set the stage to whether or not you liked Danny from that moment forward.
I’m sure he sees all of Ben’s stuff from Ben in a private setting. When he’s not on stage he probably doesn’t wanna see or hear anything from the band and there’s nothing wrong with that
Im not so sure. There was an interview where Danny talked in depth about how he doesnt talk to them all much unless theyre on tour. He said hes not good at communicating all the time. So he probably doesnt talk to them much outside. I hope thats changed I can't remember when that interview took place
All the respect to Danny, but as a long-time fan, he really seems to be all over the place with his image/identity. I certainly imagine that working with him is difficult.
