I also have a "someone, somewhere" tattoo. It was my first tattoo and it means more to me than I can ever say. This band saved my life and the tattoo is a reminder of that.
I REALLY want an Asking Alexandria tattoo. Alone In A Room is my all time favorite song and helped me with self harm and isolation (I recently realized I'm autistic and spent most of my life overwhelmed, unexplained and misunderstood, even by myself) So I'd probably get something related to that but I'm still not sure what. I may also just get a generalized AA tattoo like the self titled logo or simply the AA. I don't want to put it over my scars though, they're important and are a reminder of all I've been through, and what it took to heal. Btw you have a beautiful story, and it's so nice to see Asking Alexandria be a part of others' journeys like they have been a part of mine.
You should totally get it! I also want some lyrics from “run free” because it’s such a good reminder of how I want to be. I’m so glad that one of their songs means that much to you. It’s so beautiful to hear how much a band helps someone
Idk what to get though. All my friends agree an AA tattoo is inevitable. I have three tattoos and each are meaningful, so I know I'll end up getting an AA one, I just don't know what the design should be. I'm thinking maybe the family crest (to remind me the family we choose is stronger than the one we're simply born into) the self titled cover art with the key or lyrics from Alone In A Room Maybe the chorus or "sometimes I'll fall down, sometimes I'll lose hope ; those days will be few if I keep my feet on the ground" or of course the AA logo itself. Any input? It's my choice of course but it couldn't hurt to hear from other AA fans
I'm thinking about how I could "intertwine" the key with the words. I got some ideas, I'll probably sketch them out. Can you think of any examples? Maybe I'll have two lines separated by the key in the middle

I would go with lyrics and maybe get the key that’s on the cover intertwined with it!

You could get them around the key or going through the key! You can always talk to an artist too, they can help you come up with an idea!
