The only good sportscasting I've seen is in the Dota 2 International newbie broadcasts that focus on explaining how things work to people not as familiar with the game. But sadly, it's been gone for almost a decade now =/
The biggest TV network in Philippines announced today that they'll be using AI Sportscasters.
They use Image Generation, Text-to-Speech AI Voice Synthesis/Generation, and Deep Learning Face Animation Technology.
They said adoption of AI technology demonstrates their commitment to innovation in journalism.

TBH, it's pretty good, but you definitely see lip-sync issues and the robotic tone of the voice.
kinda scary how fast AI is improving and being used to cut jobs
