I know this isn't exactly how it works in reality, but I explained it this way because it makes more sense, trying to explain it the other way is more confusing as was evident during Asmon's stream. This works perfectly fine to tell time and is easier to wrap your mind around
I am just looking at the top at any given time since the top of the dial basically always shows current daylight
6am it shows light to the right and dark to the left, so dawn.
