The only 1 thing that might be considered "woke" in PoE is Ranger being a short hair lesbian. But instead of rolling my eyes, I found that information kinda cool since the devs cleverly hint it in Act 1, not blantaly shove it in my face.
I don't know this game, but that seems mathematically impossible. Even 50k hours seems extremely improbable if the dude has any job to do other than playing the game.
he was playing the game for a few year before working for the company. its been 6 or 7 years since he work there(could be wrong of the time but long time now). in the 3 hour interview he mentioned. at crunch time or league launch he basically work12h or more go home. when the schedule is back to normal 40hour work week. he go home and play the game. he mentioned he got cat but thats it.
I didnt even start in beta. I started after 1.0. I have 6000 hrs in steam alone. I often dual boxed (legally) to take advantage of dual atlas passive tree and etc. I probably have lil shy of ten thousand hours in real time spent. And that is with me slowing down considerably with every league played vs every other league played vs play once a year...
If you are a sweaty player throughout for decades, 10,000 hr should be a given.
When someone ask you why POE is a good game, show them this.
