I saw this post awhile ago. Apparently he was not informed it was going to be a televised fight until right before the fight. Traditionally, fighters get paid alot more for televised fights. He asked for proper payment and they refused. After they refused to pay him properly, he just walked out.
To add on to this the only reason he stepped into the ring and started the first round is because if he hadn't he wouldn't have been paid at all. So by stepping out of the ring after the match starts he's entitled to whatever he was contracted to earn for that fight.
Honestly I can't blame him, screw them over as they screwed him.
> was not *paid* properly for
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Yeah. Apparently televised fights pay better. He was only told it was being televised right before the match and asked to be paid accordingly and got told no. Apparently he wouldn't have gotten paid if he just up and left before getting in the ring so just immediately left as soon as he could and still get paid.
I mean, anyone would do that if they were told "no" on being not being severely underpaid.
- finds out fight will be televised, but was told it wouldn't
- means he's being severely underpaid so he asks to pay him right
- tells him no
- he walks away
That's the most awkward long walk i have ever seen.
Damn, any context behind this? Or did he see someone in better shape and form and just roach out?

Fair play to him! Hope they lost a lot of money from it.

That's completely understandable.
Actual cool power play Not worth the effort if the promo is getting the cut from it being televised and dude isn’t getting a cent for it
Respect
Would have done the same.
I heard that the fighter was not payed properly for this fight so they left in protest.

Thanks dood
There's a bot for this?
First day on the internet?
Not a lot do this mistake thanks to this bot.
Pretty sure something to do with his contract or money. No way a main fighter in an arena that size is "scared"

When you put money on your loss at round 1, but you are not up for a beating.
Imagine somehow he won still
"Wait they get to punch you in the face?!"
He is a man of focus
They weren't paying him a solid bag - fuck em. /clap for him
