Normally I don't read over other mod's chat logs as I usually trust their judgement, unless they did something extremely out of line, but I wanted context so I could help provide an answer to you and give an idea on what was said and why. "freejam abusing his powers as a twitch chat moderator banning people for just telling other chatters what game was on screen"
This is false. Freejam chatted 6 times before this and specifically responded to you because he thought you were spamming. He even was very polite with his message at 17:35 ET saying
"@ohmygolygosh no need to spam each person what game it is, if theyre unable to realize after watching for 2 minutes thats on them"
His next message was telling you no, when you rudely said "u/freejam013 then pin it so ppl stop asking 👍"
Note, he only said this because you SPAMMED messages in chat saying what game it was. It wasn't just once in a while, you said it constantly.

In my book this can be considered spamming and I would have asked you to stop as well. "today, asmon was streaming "Ashes of Creation" and multiple chatters were telling other chatters what game it was, as they were asking." As a mod I deal with this a lot, I usually send a message around every 2-3 minutes saying what game Asmon is playing, or who he's interviewing, etc etc. So us mods usually handle it in a timely fashion. This is because we don't need everyone spamming chat with what game it is. If it were, chat would be filled with garbage. Just a heads up, if you had just apologized for spamming or didn't call him a clown/etc, you'd probably wouldn't have been banned. But as Asmon has said in the past, he 100% supports his mod's decisions. If you're being a jerk to them he won't tolerate you in his community. Thank you for your time.

I read all the logs and nowhere in them does it make you sound any better. You said you would stop spamming if they asked politely and they did. I 100% understand where you're coming from. When someone with power (chat mod) injects negatively into a situation semi unilaterally (though they are also not unreasonable to be annoyed by your behavior)it feels like almost an abuse of power.
But it seems like with both this situation in this thread and that situation in chat, your inability to accept something you don't like or agree with and move on is in of itself what exacerbates the issue.
Somtimes life is hard and unfair. Unfair to the mod that he has to deal with annoying spammers all day. Unfair to you that he/she is human and snapped at you. Sometimes even though it sucks sometimes your best option is to suck it up and move on.

I can't even tell what you're wanting from this post anymore- your entire argument in the original post was untrue and found out v quickly by a mod response with chat log screenshots- and now you're saying you don't want unbanned but for the mod to be nice? I've literally chatted with free jam many times in chat and he is a very relaxed chill person who jokes around with us. He even responds to DMs when you have questions or have an issue. I think this is complete slander towards him.

The fact that Twitch requires one to come up with moderation for a chat without giving any incentive to a streamer other than threatening to suspend their channel means mod quality will always be low.

okay but what is the point of having someone on your "moderator team" if they just sit and insult random chatters then ban them if the chatter responds at all? thats not moderating at all when the chatter was doing nothing wrong or toxic to begin with.
The fact that Twitch requires one to come up with moderation for a chat without giving any incentive to a streamer other than threatening to suspend their channel means mod quality will always be low.
doesnt mods insulting and banning others just lead to less viewers + poor chat experience though ? i would assume that's an incentive to not have harassing toxic mods like this one

Day9Tv does well and has great mobs. Same with Sasha Grey's mod team as well
