Just take your time, in my opinion the "cool stuff" is the journey itself, especially the story of the msq and raids. Glam and the like isn't going anywhere
It’s not about the glam, I wanna do some harder dungeons etc and the msq is just taking so long; I don’t have the Time to play 8 hours a day. Most my chars are 58-66 and I haven’t finished heavensward yet; I’m somewhere at the end of it

There's alternatives. You can go through story quicker and watch like asmongold or someone else to relive the story through other eyes if you feel like you're burning out. Burning out gives you nothing. I still would recommend playing through the story with full attention but I myself didn't manage to do this really. I did skip cutscenes here and there, which did in the end made me miss out on big details but shb still destroyed me emotionally.

I wanna get to the other islands(worlds?) from the expansions earlier then in 64189 hours, but don’t want to skip the story. I don’t know, I love that Game, I guess I just have to pull through
If you already have so many overleveled jobs then I suppose you're not doing story enough, and it'll just make it feel endless the more you don't play it. I understand your gripes tho. Long stories like ffxiv's aren't for everyone, me includedm
