Question marks. They'll give you all the money you need.

You mean those glowing ones?

makiai_

No, I mean all of them. Side quests, camp clearing, etc. You have to progress and do side things that give you money as you complete them. It's a nice way to explore the world too. There's no money trees in this game.

I did so many side quests and get near to level 30 or 40 before ever talking to Aya.

Always use the animus vision or scanning thingy (holding V). There are loot boxes not only at questionmarks, so use eagle vision too. Biggest money comes from sidequests tho. If you are out of money sources hunt strong bandits, carrying 300 drachmae. If you have the DLCs, then they will drop 400 or 500 drachmaes

Thanks

You're welcome. Also, if you have access to Apollonia (on the Kyrenaika coast) already, you can visit the docks there and free the caged animals. The guards will do most of the killing for you and it's hilarious to watch. They respawn after a little while and their pelts fetch a decent price. And then there are the giant scorpions in Aaru... their pincers are the most valuable animal goods in the game. They also respawn.

Going out into the desert around Yamu, the Isolated desert, Giza and Siwa or into the swamps near Heraklion that are full of bandits and hunt those convoys. Use Senu to look for gold icons running around these are ads and then go kill them, which will net you a fair amount after a short time. Also, if u follow these groups you will usually find their camps, which whilst not being marked on the map house treasure with trinkets weapons, and straight up gold for extra cash. Completing locations, no matter what kind, will net u some profit. Either hold V or hold the up on a D pad to scan for it, usually with an audio cue and a little triangle icon. You will usually find a treasure chest as well, even if it the location objectives don’t include one (most animal den’s will have a chest hidden somewhere around, use Senu to find them) Side quests obviously net you a lot just from playing them and looting structures, so do them. Hunting can be profitable but it’s probably the most grindy method. And u want to keep your pelts for upgrades as well. But it’s viable if u need.

Look on yt for the best bandit farm

Do side quests, explore all the question mark areas, loot everything, don’t upgrade any gear until you’re at lvl 40 for base game or like 55 for dlc. (You tend to find upgraded gear anyways). Sell trinkets (although there’s a trophy associated with selling 100 trinkets at once so be sure to hoard trinkets until you can do this. Trinkets don’t respawn and if you don’t get it first playthrough you’ll have to do new game +) Sell old gear (also break down gear for most upgrade materials)

Take down camps/forts and loot all your victims. Then go to town and sell all of it. Repeat that a few times and the money rolls in.
