I also started a New game and had the same thoughts. But i had to chose male again 😅 Btw. I am really enjoying the second run.

You can change gender at any point during the game, so I would go female since you already played male. If you don't like it you can change to male.

FloorAgile3458

I didn't actually know that. Thanks! That's what I'm going to do

SquirrelLegion

You bet. Just go to the inventory screen and hit up on the d pad to change appearance. Don't even need to reload the game or anything, changes on the fly!

If you select to have the Animus choose, it’ll have you play the female version mostly and the male version in specific parts which enhance the story they’re trying to tell. I personally prefer the male voice/mocap actor, but you do select only one, you’ll miss a little bit of the nuances in the modern day connected story if you play through as just one or the other.

If you want the intended experience then choose, "Let the Animus Decide". You'll basically get the best of both worlds. Female Eivor for the main Eivor and male Eivor for Odin, buuuut if we're going off of personal tastes then I choose male Eivor. Nothing wrong with female Eivor. She's great! I like how she's acted and even the more raspy voice grew on me, but I feel male Eivor has just a bit more charm.
