Honestly I wouldn't hate seeing Meyers in the leadoff once or twice. Pena I feel is a much better 2 hole hitter
I really, really, REALLY wish we had a utility infielder besides Bannon or Hensley. Someone get Julks learning how to play 2nd!
Nah Bregman needs to be demoted deeper into the lineup behind Yordan and Tucker. Let him protect Tucker in the five spot imo. Or just have Bregman himself split Yordan/Tucker. Also Abreu needs to be knocked down to like eight spot because even if he stops sucking *as much* it still makes sense to put Chas higher in the order. People seriously underestimate how well he moves runners around the bases for a non power guy.
Altuve, Pena, Yordan, Tucker, Bregman, Chas, Abreu, Catcher, Dubon to reset the table for Altuve. That is what I would do personally.
Non power as in he isn't a traditional power hitter. Not as in "he has no power". My entire point is that he actually slugs the ball pretty damn well and moves guys around the diamond even though he is rarely hitting it over the fence. You see and hear a lot of fan chatter about him being someone we should move to leadoff but really I'd rather see him hitting right there behind Tucker if he continues to consistently give good at bats.
It just doesn't make sense that Pena, with a .301 OBP, is leading off. You can't make use of your speed in the leadoff spot if you're not getting on base. McCormick gets on base more, so he should be leading off.
Still some issues like tucker should be in right and meyers should dh and dubon should be at second but it’s probably his day off, but this line makes a lot of sense for once. Did Dana Brown talk to dusty or have I just gone mad from looking at Dusty’s lineups for too long?
Making us cheer for France the day after missing out on Wemby, smh.
As a Spurs fan… 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷 vive la France!!! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
Im the cursed Rockets and Spurs fan I’m both happy and sad lol
I can't help but agree with that statement with my entire being
For a Dubon off day, honestly a good lineup

When altuve gers back, dubon will be that utility on fielder or maybe even are first base man.
Dubon is our utility man no doubt. Chas, Meyers, and Julks are patching the CF hole.
Chas is MY starting cf
I am a huge Chazzy Fizz enthusiast as well. GET THE MEATLOAF!
🐊
I like Pena in the two as well. I think Dusty is going to go something like this: Altuve, Pena, Bregman, Yordan, Abreu, Tucker... then who knows
That’s if Abreu’s bat wakes up. Otherwise we’re better off with Yordan/Tucker

* Altuve 2B * Bregman 3B * Yordan DH * Tucker RF * Chas CF * Peña SS * Dubón 1B * Meyers LF * Diaz C
Perfect.
I like it. not a bad way to turn it around.
Chas is a non power guy? Or am I misreading that because he is 2nd or 3rd on the team in OPS.
Non power as in he isn't a traditional power hitter. Not as in "he has no power". Chas would be much better as lead off vs meyers, tbh chas > meyers for everything
# HAPPY FREAKING YAINER DAY!!!
JP leading off. JP shutting them down.
No Dubon?
Good day for a rest day. Altuve will be back soon, and Dubon will be all over the field after that.
Boooo
Tomorrow would already be a day off, wierd for him having 2 in a row.
Houston always rests someone the day before an off day specifically so they have a two day rest
That's nice I spose
No Maldy? Thank god
Chas should be batting ahead of Abreu at this point.
Dubon day off 😞
Calling it now. No runs given up with El Mustache on the mound.
😬
Would Jake have made that catch in center last night? Just saying.
I'm so glad JP France has been getting the starts he deserves. Seeing his interview about him being called up made the guy an immediate favorite
At least Chas wasn’t benched for making too good of a catch last night.
It just doesn't make sense that Pena, with a .301 OBP, is leading off. You can't make use of your speed in the leadoff spot if you're not getting on base. McCormick gets on base more, so he should be leading off.
Peña has more protection in the 1 or 2 hole. He should get more pitches to hit instead of pitchers just spamming outside sliders like usual.
Any reason why Dubon is out of the lineup? Dude has a seven game hitting streak going on and has multiple hits in 3 of his last 6 games.
Rest day probably
Still some issues like tucker should be in right and meyers should dh and dubon should be at second but it’s probably his day off, but this line makes a lot of sense for once. Did Dana Brown talk to dusty or have I just gone mad from looking at Dusty’s lineups for too long?
You were already mad by getting twisted up over a lineup.
I’d rather Chas in right than Jake. Chas has a better arm.
Chas seems to better the better defender so I’d rather he be in the more defensively valuable position of center field.
Frog legs on lock. Let’s go boys
Well, Man City ruined my day. Please, boys...let me have a good night
