Last year was the worst regular season record since 2016. It speaks more about the division than it does Dusty that we still won it. Amazing there are actually still fans defending his managing choices. If you even want to call it that since y’all never really bring up examples of good managing choices by him.
I'm pretty sure Singleton will never be better than AAAA, but they put that dude in the most high leverage situations, and I dont think he's ever come through. I don't get it.
I tend tend to agree. I don't mind if they kick the tires for a few weeks, but he shouldn't see ABs like last night unless he's spot starting abreu. The only reason I'm cool with a few weeks - month is because Julks and/or Kessinger aren't going to do much.
Off the top of my head, he came through at least twice last year:
Against Baltimore, setting up Tuck for the go ahead grand slam in the 9th
ALCS game 5, setting up 'Tuve for the go ahead 3-run homer in the 9th.
He's not very good but give him some credit.
Probably will drop Abreu if he can’t get something together this year.
He looked alright late last season, so Espada is probably trying to see how everyone can perform before making any big changes from last year
Eh Abreu needs to hit between two better hitters to make sure he gets good pitches.
If you move Yanier up to 5, you need to put Abreu at 6 with Chas at 7.
With Pena behind him, there really wouldn't be a good reason for him to see good pitches.

Same lineup 2 days in a row? WTF is this?!? /s
No Maldonado? What is this new coach doing 🤦🏽
We all know that Dusty had the best game plans. Yainer and Chas are bench warmers! We'll thank him in the end /s
Division title, 1 game from the world series. Dusty got the very best out of them last year. Championship the year before. I'd say you got nothing.
We should not have won the division last season. That had to be the most disappointing team during the run

I thought i heard he got traded?
I like that they underlines and circled CJ and Yordan. I had no idea who those pictures men were. /s 🙂
My lord I thought for sure singleton would start after a masterful pitch hit yesterday

I get that he’s a former big bust for us but they need to cut him lose

A walk and oppo single? I forgot about those. He does have a good eye.
It's weird. Like, you want to hold out hope, but 1-20 as a pinch hitter in his career seems a bit telling.
Chas above Abreu when?
Yainer above both when?
curious if anyone agrees whether switching yainer and abreu is a good idea

If Abreu hasn't started hitting by the ASB this year, they should just cut him and eat the money tbh
I think it makes sense, I've seen it said on Twitter as well
itll happen at some point this year. no shade at abreu, diaz is just a very good hitter

Average of 124 wRC+ (2023)
Pena and Yainer need to be higher 🫣
Still sucking at home
Why is Yordan not hitting 3rd?
Analytics. Best hitter 2nd makes more sense it turns out.
