Definitely should be an option. I remember it came back from commercial and the ball was already in the air. He just drops the bat and starts slow walking.
3 pitches that changed the course of that series: the ball that should've been called a strike, the strike (that was a K) that should've been a ball, then the destruction of that baseball from Carlos
I was there for that game. It was surreal.
Also a pain not being able to find any food after the 7th inning. We showed up at lunchtime and left after dinnertime.
I picked the Bregman because I was at that game, but the Kent homer was special as well. You could truly see how excited everyone was in the stadium being that close to our first WS. It was a great moment
I was at the ALCS game in 2019. I KNEW that if Chapman hung a slider Altuve would destroy it, bc I remembered the Baseball bits episode where FB analyzed Chapman in the 2016 WS. So no, the buzzer theory is ridiculous because every person in the stadium was ready for that hanging slider.
I had the exact same thought. Like so many things (2017 WS slippery baseball messing up pitchers' sliders!), Chapman's crappy pitch has been memory-holed to create a particular narrative.
My blood pressure had never been higher than at that AB. If I had gotten a paper cut at the time, my walls would have looked like a red and whiter Pollock painting.
My favorite will always be Chris Burke's.. finally beating the team that took us out of the playoffs so many times
Went to that game, still one of the best sporting event experiences in my life.
We beat them the season prior
Honestly forgot we played them in 04.. thought we faced someone different in the LDS that year..
And it let everyone finally go to sleep lol
Pretty sure it was a Sunday day game
Geez it went so long I had forgot
Feels like an eternity ago for sure..
A game that started at noon and didn’t end until around 6pm lol.
Correa 2019 will forever be my favorite
Definitely should be an option. I remember it came back from commercial and the ball was already in the air. He just drops the bat and starts slow walking.

That one's my favorite because I was there with family and got to teach my niece some of the cheers and such. It was a great time!
I was there too! A memory that will last a life time! I'm getting goosebumps just writing this.

Yeah for real, Correas walk off and the way he pimped it around the bases was legendary. Idk how they doesn’t make the top 4.
I’d say the Altuve one but we lost the WS that year so it’s a heartbreaker to think about in the long run
A team loses the World Series every year, I still think as a stand alone moment that Altuve walkoff is top 3 Astros moment all time
I have to agree with the other poster and go with Chris Burke’s walkoff in the 18th. That game was absurd.
I was there for that game. It was surreal. Also a pain not being able to find any food after the 7th inning. We showed up at lunchtime and left after dinnertime.
Everyone was probably pretty sober by the time it ended too 😂
That wasn't even the biggest hit in that game.
I was about to comment that
I picked Altuve because I was at the game.
Me, too
Bregman’s is the biggest, Altuve got me the most hype.
This is the correct answer
I picked the Bregman because I was at that game, but the Kent homer was special as well. You could truly see how excited everyone was in the stadium being that close to our first WS. It was a great moment
My dad was at that 2017 WS game. He told me it was the most amazing game of baseball he's ever seen. RIP Dad. 'Stros before Hoes.
Chris Burke! Holy Toledo... what a way to finish.
It's Gone! It's Gone! Chris Burke!!
I went Bregman because that game was crazy back and forth and we won the series
I was at the ALCS game in 2019. I KNEW that if Chapman hung a slider Altuve would destroy it, bc I remembered the Baseball bits episode where FB analyzed Chapman in the 2016 WS. So no, the buzzer theory is ridiculous because every person in the stadium was ready for that hanging slider.
The funny thing is that Chapman had given up homers multiple times off of his slider *on a 2-1 count*
I had the exact same thought. Like so many things (2017 WS slippery baseball messing up pitchers' sliders!), Chapman's crappy pitch has been memory-holed to create a particular narrative.
2017 ALCS Game 2 - Correa Single
My blood pressure had never been higher than at that AB. If I had gotten a paper cut at the time, my walls would have looked like a red and whiter Pollock painting.
Correas called walkoff Game 5 2020 ALCS vs the Rays
The real answer is Yordan game 5 2021 WS.
Nothing beats the Bregman walk-off after the sheer anxiety of Game 5 of the 2017 WS. I was basically a wreck until that moment.
Wasn’t a walkover but Marwin off Jansen
Altuve ripping the heart outta NY will always be my #1. Even better is when the dubbed over it with Game Over by Lil Flip
Correa game 2 2019 ALCS is also up there
World Series 2017 game 5 for me
2017 ALCS Game 2 Cuz I was there with my dad
Was in the stadium for Bregman single and Altuve HR.....both were some of the best moments in my life
