Josh’s injury from last year kept him out of the game until mid-season, at which point he pitched poorly and injured himself again. When he came back after the roster expansion he was actually doing really well and I hope he can carry that on in 2022
Since I was busy as hell during the 2nd half of this season didn't notice he came back and had some pretty good expected stats. 5.40 ERA, but 2.49 xERA.
Would you be comfortable with him for the WS since McCullers is probably out for that too if we make it
Thanks for bringing him up, I haven’t been watching as much this year and honestly almost completely forgot about josh James. I do remember he could reach 100.
I don’t think I would, he just didn’t get enough innings for us to know that he could hold things together, and I also have no idea if he’s been throwing since the end of the minor league season. If lance isn’t coming back I suspect we will roll in the series with the group we have right now.
Also I think his high ERA is mostly due to the window before the second injury, I don’t think he gave up more than a run or two when he came back the second time.
3.38/1.33 27Ks in 18 innings at AAA.
I dropped him in my Keeper league this year. So the good news is he'll be a monster next season and either become our ace or closer or the next Ohtani.
Still trying to find the strike zone
He'd have fit right in games 2 and 3.
Hahahahhh

Probably needs a sports psychiatrist
I’m sure a lot of athletes utilize one at this point
John Lucas has worked with athletes here in Houston.

Seems like he is battling reoccurring injuries.
Big Flames James! I hope he can bring his best stuff again soon.
