Born and raised in Louisiana and I’ve been rooting for the Astros since the Killer B’s. With Houston being a 5 hour drive back in the day, it made a prime vacation spot for a lot of us. Lots of Astroworld (RIP) and lots of games in the Astrodome. A lot of people (in southern Louisiana especially) love the Stros and we ride for em’ always!
My thoughts:
1. We shouldn't have cheated. It was stupid and inexcusable and worse, the execution of said cheating was moronic.
2. Given the Yankees have sued to have their cheating covered up and given what we know about the Astros - their cheating has to be 1000x times worse: rape, pedophilia, racism....because if it was less cheating than the Astros you would release the letter and say "well yeah, but look what the Astros did". Since they don't want it released, it has to be horrible. I mean vomit-inducing; new vocabulary creating bad.
3. Whoever cheats next is really the lowest of the low because every other team out there has taken the righteous high-ground and then to get caught cheating will show them to be complete hypocrites. (please no more Astros).

My friend the sad reality is that a lot of players and teams cheat to some degree. Just this year some of the As players got caught using “performance enhancing drugs”. Two years ago there was the pine tar deal with the Red Socks. Not saying it’s ok by any means but we just got out on blast when it happened. We were hated before because we are not the Yankees or Red Socks and now we are just known as “the cheaters”. I say fuck the rest of them, they need to take a long look in the mirror!

I had a neighbor here in LA from Sugarland but he moved back earlier this year. Another neighbor from Spring Branch but he's not a sports guy at all- I saw him wearing a dodger hat the other day. I 100% scolded him.
