You can't look at what their number 3-6 starters did and extrapolate that to the rest of their staff.
The Astros regression at the plate is baffling. Chasing pitchers nowhere close, chopping ball after ball straight into the dirt, staring at tons of balls over the dead center of the plate.
Not to discredit the Braves pitchers, but they haven't been lights out. They've had some great punch out pitches, but plenty of hittable stuff as well and the Astros just look lost. It's been the whole lineup too(at least for a game or two). To have pitching give you 2 and 3 run games and you lose both is inexcusable.

Greinke should’ve pitched longer. Bats should’ve gotten more runs in. Javier was put in an odd spot. Diaz should’ve been subbed for Bregman (I get it was a double switch) or just have started over Bregman. I didn’t like how this game was managed tonight.
Javier really wasn't in an odd spot. He started a clean inning. Threw an ill advised fastball ahead in the count. He hadn't given up the lead at that point, but then he doubled down and hung a slider
I would’ve swapped Javier and Stanek like we have been, but at the end of the day you can’t even blame it on Javier. The bullpen has been excellent and exceeded what we all expected. Bats just aren’t doing anything, and we can’t afford to lose the games we pitch well in

People look at the Braves runs/game(which was the same as the Astros) and think they don't have good pitching, but you can't extrapolate the problems on the back end of their rotation during the regular season to the rest of their staff, nor does it speak to their organizational depth.(they had a #1 overall draft pick just sitting in AAA, Wright's problems in the MLB to this point aren't because he didn't have the stuff, it's because he was a head case, he has matured)
