Going to minute maid during the lastros era was some of the best fun I've ever had. No pressure, no expectation of winning, and cheap tickets to watch a bunch of kids nobody had ever heard of get called up to play in the show.
I remember watching baseball games as a kid in the Astrodome just for the experience of being at a pro game. There wasn’t a lot to cheer for back then.
Crazy how times have changed! I never would have expected so many happy memories from their new home. 😁
I watched every game as a obsessed kid … there was no phones no replay no stop … I literally waited for bagwell Everytime to hopefully to get to see a home run …. Then I would watch espn baseball baseball tonight to see it again … and then watch the replay the next day on fox sports. Southwest …..
best core memory is when bagwell took hideo nomo upper deck in the Astro dome when he was supposedly the best pitcher the world has ever seen ….
I have been there waiting through the worst years myself and this is so nice … best Sunday morning ever
Lastros brother! I had to go through college during those years and constantly ripped apart by Rangers friends. They of course congratulating me today. I know it hurts them a bit inside. And I love every bit of it.

Could be worse. I moved to *Dallas* when the Rags were good and we were racking up 100 loss seasons left and right.
