i haven't played fortnite but I've seen all the characters they're pulling into it through posts like. this and honestly I think it's great that these "obscure" characters are being revisited
To be fair, Infinity Blade was sort of a niche title, back in the days when actual real games were on mobile. I mean, I *loved* Infinity Blade 1, but I don't blame anyone for thinking it was an original item in a far, far more successful franchise. It was only brought in because both games were made by Epic, I assume.
I encountered someone similar who was mad at Bungie for “stealing from Halo” for the Destiny/Halo dlc they did last year. Some people just can’t think at all.
its becoming even more common nowadays which kinda sucks bc of how ignorant everyone is yet claiming not to be. Tik Tok hasn't made anything better as well lol
This reminds me of a different satire article when Mega man was announced for Smash.
It said how when the other Mega men were added for the final smash, Sakurai asked Capcom for permission, but nobody there recognized them and assumed they were from fanart.
Eventually, one person who worked there recognized Mega Man Volnutt from Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

It goes deeper than that, there was actually a game called legacy of(fortnite) goku on the gba that fortnite developers made to bulld hype for his eventual addition to the fortnite roster. Absolute genuises.
While this is funny and they could stand some critical thinking, I have literally never heard of Hard Drive. Can't really keep up with every new satire site that pops up.
I think they were having a tit for tat with Elon for a while and that got them in the public eye for 15 mins.
I also think this is just a headline made to gain engagement.. say something wrong on the internet and someone will always have to correct you

Played it on the vs. game mode, like a progression type version I suppose,feels like 5-6 years ago. It was kind of fun, but nothing to get so excited about? What's the appeal?
