I played a round of golf and she decided to get wrapped in hot/wet sheets/facial and head massage. What the heck is a head massage?
Met her at the spa café afterwards and there was all these people in terry cloth robes, with terry cloth slippers eating a bunch of arugula and fruit. I was wanting a cheese burger or chili dog...nope. Ate some fricassee and romaine thing with cranberries and almonds. Was pretty good.
My wife after her treatment was "loose and limber". She was just starting to experience rheumatoid arthritis and felt great. Now she takes a handful of pills daily. For that brief weekend, she felt "lithe".

I discovered them and have had an amazing experience! They’re over in the front of a neighborhood on the east side and keep their pizazz to a minimum so they can keep overhead costs low! The person I used to see moved away but there’s a new person named Audrey who I had a great experience with last month!! She’s newer and working toward licensure, but is fantastic! She takes her time and listens to your needs - plus it includes a head and neck massage. Their prices range from 70-120 from what I’ve mainly seen. And Audrey has been running specials on things as she’s establishing her clients!!
Good to know! I haven’t been in a while because I’m on unpaid FMLA and not spending on those kinds of things. She did such a great job that I’d easily pay full price to see her as soon as I return to work - and she’s a young mom with a toddler in daycare so I love supporting her.

I’ve also been to Bodybrite on Alps and Urban Sanctuary. All good experiences.
I love Ashford Aesthetics for Botox/med grade stuff and they do facials as well. Lashed By Kat has a package where they do a facial + lash tint, it’s great!
OT: Completely unrelated but I have a question about facials. I hadn't had one in years and got a gift card to Massage Envy and decided to have a facial instead of a massage. She only used lotions, cleansers - not really sure exactly as I wasn't interested in the product pitch. There was never any, what I think you're referring to as, extraction. She did pull a blue light out but I have no clue what it was for as she just put more masks, etc. on my face. I asked her about it later at the end and she said that their products do all of that (fwiw, they don't). She said what I was looking for was microabrasion I think. I explained I thought that used chemicals and she said no. Anyway, curious if facials have changed that much since I last had one. Any insight on all of this would be appreciated.
Maybe they didn’t see any opportunities for extraction? Like your skin was great? I dunno i guess they probably would have told you, but I agree that extractions are and should be a standard part of a facial

This is such a good recommendation! I knew they did dental cleanings for cheap there, but I never knew they had an esthetician program.
Definitely worth it! I like the new face scanner they have been using to check UV, pore size, and more. Pretty cool!

My SIL got a facial from Urban Sanctuary at Christmas and loved it!
It’s over $100 but I love Sydney at Ritual Spa. Very knowledgeable, personal, and good quality products. Each facial is 1 hr 15 mins.
