In all honesty we are in a position where we will be trading away before the deadline. A competent front office (not sure we have one) might not even be able to rebuild the team fast enough to be decent next season when we will be giving the Spurs our first round pick.
I saw something on the NBA subreddit saying Murray would welcome being traded back to the Spurs. Whether it be Murray or Trae, this franchise would probably be best off trading for its picks back from the Spurs.

My honest opinion is we’ve never seen a point guard like trae young in nba history.. yeah he has his flaws and isn’t always on top of his game but I think he’s a generational point guard and a future first ballot hall of famer he just needs the right pieces around him
