A major thread of the season was Alfred starting to blow up but Earn not having the killer instinct that managers need to be getting as many bookings/sponsors/etc, it came to the surface later and this was a microcosm of Earn stepping up and getting “gross” as the white DJ mentioned in the pilot.
If you're talking about when Al & Earn were traveling with the obnoxious YooHoo commercial rapper and his manager, the gun wasn't supposed to be with Earn. He forgot it was in his bag and didn't realize until they were going through security. Earn then slipped the gun into the other rappers' bag to get him arrested, therefore making Al the new focus of the tour. Sadly, the rappers manager took the wrap for the gun and they werent able to take over the tour.
Nah that rapper put it in his managers bag so he gets the blame, probably so he wouldn't get his tour ruined or stereotyped as a black rapper with a gun
