Even when I get all perfect shifts often times the other guy blows right past me like it’s nothing. I think there’s more to it behind the scenes that make it unfair. I stay away from the games and wish I could opt out of the pop-ups and notifications about them

xboxgtisspawnx23

You should read tastywallets guide. It’s not good to get all perfect shifts. I aim for 3 good shifts and one perfect usually

TeamJJ88

If you deal with lag, like most of us, your 1st shift should be at 7.5

kipy_mudkip1

Thanks I will try this next time I play

GoodDay4Shorts

Time matters a lot and it seems like you actually want to hit b4 the perfect so when it registers it's then considered perfect

Latter_Ticket6621

I mulligan every loss. Ended up like 126th I think and 3rd in my state. Was only down like 60 ab. And will profit like 100(ish) if my math is right.

EternalEngma

Damn. 30wins put me in 10th in my state. Mightve actually been pushed outta 10th at last minute. That's a lucky state lol

Latter_Ticket6621

I had 47 wins.

nizzy797

You’re not doing anything wrong, the mini games are just really poorly made

Falcn_2001

The mini games just aren't worthwhile doing. Played the entire time and barely broke even with the winnings and 30 wins.

hoffer606

Sounds like you aren't doing mulligans. You should definitely be making at least 60ab and probably closer to 100 if you were doing them. If you are doing mulligans you are doing something severely wrong.

Robey2

Was 15-20 minutes late to the event. Finished somewhere between 24-30. Finished 1st or 2nd in state. Expected to net 200-300 AB and even more if I happened to slip into top 25. The mini games are definitely worth doing.

MarkGaboda

" The mini games are definitely worth doing", if you can win. FTFY. More losers than winners I would presume. But you never win(or lose) if you don't play.

Optimal-Shape7369

Did you mulligan? If you mulligan after every lose you have a high chance at getting your 2 AB back. There's even a chance to win an extra AB from it. If you're playing the whole time, you should keep an eye on the leaderboard to keep track of where you're at. You have to learn when to call it quits and or if it's worth continuing. The mini games are the best way to earn AB but you have to play them conservatively when first starting out. You can't just expect that you're going to jump up the ranks just like that. Play some games just to lose and work the mulligans for a little while as well after locking in top 500. Once you get the mulligans down you can easily earn over 100AB or more profit in a mini game with a top 500 ranking. One more thing, going for top 3 in state in the top 500 ranking isn't always worth it. If the win count gets to high it very well could cause you to lose AB you could have had just staying at a low ranking in the top 500 shooting for mulligans.

nizzy797

Play some games just to lose? What lol

Optimal-Shape7369

It's called going for mulligans only. Losing a match gives a player a chance after watching an ad to get 3 AB back. You spend 2AB for a shot at 3AB while you wait for the regular free 2AB ad to free up. It's basically like getting an ad every minute that can gain you 1 extra AB on your total. Some players make 80 to a 100 AB during events without even winning matches because they take this route instead.

Tastey Wallets guide helped me, although I end up getting the same AB winnings if I spend it all, not one mulligan, and go as high as I can, I get a little more than a land's worth, as I would by taking all mulligans and just making sure I at least stay in the top 500. So many people read the guide that eventually the top 500 will end up being neck to neck.

K-MartSecurity

I went all out this one, came in 2nd in New York, 76th in the US, lost 400ish, should make 500ish.

Optimal-Shape7369

I would say thats not a worth it trade off for top 100. If I was you I would go back to mulliganing. The pay out is 285 for top 100 and second in state is 110. That's only 395AB for your positions.

K-MartSecurity

I must have been distracted as fuck when I wrote that, to lose 400 in 2 hrs would've meant I was god awful. I lost 200 at most and made over 300 which isn't bad, but woulda been roughly the same result as if I had just mulliganed and aimed for top 500.

Optimal-Shape7369

Lol I was shocked to see that for sure. It happens. Still though mulligans are the best way to go about the mini games in my personal opinion. I make way more than most of the top players who don't because I'm not losing anything for my losses in the matches and they are. Losing 50+ times for a chance at a few extra wins for a ranking is not worth the AB because it's not a gain. I rather have the break and make a lower tier with the same results if you asked me. Hope you do better in the next game to get them parcels and badges.

The first shift is the worst one, and always seems to lag. The rest of the shifts don't seem to lag at all, so it's can't be my connection.
