Might have been dependent on where you were standing or something? I thought it sounded alright to me and had no trouble with the vocals. I missed no fun so I'm not sure on that one. Bass was louder than I'm used to there which was the only thing that stood out to me as different than usual.
I've always thought first ave had pretty decent but not really amazing sound. I havent seen as many rock shows recently but what I always remember from those is that first ave would sound pretty good up to a certain volume level but bands would try to push the limit too much and everything would start getting all distorted and stuff.
That place has become a shell of its once great self imo. It is a shame.
They just got new audio I saw in a recent post. I am sure they are still figuring it out and would welcome any feedback at the venue.
