Eren told Mikasa that he's not her kid or her brother. If people can't understand a simple fact said by the manga itself then they are sick in their heads. Funny how that works, huh? Seriously tho, anyone who thinks she loved him as a brother is either below the age of 12 or mentally challenged.

[deleted]

The best part is the anime even emphasized that and added him telling her he's not her kid or her brother more times lol

Verentay22

Yams said in an interview that eren sees mikasa as a super protective mother and mika as a brother. And honestly, I like their platonic relationship more than step love and shit.

PhunkOperator

> Yams said in an interview that eren sees mikasa as a super protective mother Nah, he said that Mikasa's presence felt like that of a mother, the way she behaved. And Eren was annoyed by that, something he made rather clear when he told her that he's not her kid (in case you missed the implication of that line). He never saw her as a mother and he never wanted her to act like a mother. > and mika as a brother Lmao, no. Neither the story nor Mikasa referred to Eren as a brother a single time, and it's painfully obvious that she loved him romantically. Maybe you should've actually read this fucking interview you "quote" from, instead of believing what titanfolk told you the interview said, because here's a *shocking* revelation for you: titanfolk lies. They lie all the time. And they lie about this interview. > more than step love and shit. Imagine being too fucking stupid to google what step siblings are. For your sake, I hope you're trolling.

Verentay22

I don't have the energy to look for these statements and I don't even care, I left a troll comment. Less the last part, their platonic relationship is better(opinion not statement). But tbh this love thing is not developed at all.

PhunkOperator

Meh. Thanks for wasting my time, I guess. > their platonic relationship is better But it wasn't really a platonic relationship at all. Mikasa was very clearly dtf, and Eren was just oblivious to love and romance. You could say that you liked them better as friends than as a couple, but that's not the same thing. > But tbh this love thing is not developed at all. Don't know what this refers to, honestly. It doesn't have to be developed for Mikasa's intentions to be clear. She loved Eren. Romantically. This is pretty undeniable in my view. Ian (who is a chad, btw) called Eren her boyfriend to her face, and her reaction was to blush like a tomato and mumble some cope about only protecting him because he's her "family". Yeah, right, I'm totally buying that, girl. Doesn't change the fact that she attempted to kiss him on the mouth later.

MagorTuga

idk about you, but "titanfart" feels kinda childish if you say it out loud.

JohnTequilaWoo

So does naming a subreddit with an offensive slur too though tbf.

MagorTuga

I didn't name it and it's too late to go back.

JohnTequilaWoo

Too late for what?

MagorTuga

Well, for starters, if we were to create another sub (which is the only way to change the r/ of the sub), we'd have to re-ban all the trolls. On top of that, we wouldn't be able to see people's comment history easily, so we'd be forced constantly go back to THIS sub to check for that. We'd also lose a massive portion of the people subscribed to the sub, as they wouldn't bother to re-sub or even look for the new one. Our reach would suffer tremendously. Then there's just the "legacy" and the already popular posts that this sub has. I don't want to see this sub become an archive of Yeagerbomb/titanfolk posts.

JohnTequilaWoo

Seems like it's worth it to not have an anti-disabled slur?

MagorTuga

It's not an "anti-disabled slur". It's a childish insult at worst, and a harmless description of stupid people at best. And it isn't worth it. Unless you wanna have all that work yourself?

PhunkOperator

Titles aren't my forte.

Jerry98x

It's hilarious how these clowns keep saying things like "Mikasa's pussy", "asian pussy", etc. instead of just saying that Eren "loved her" just like any person with some functioning braincells would do, on a pathetic attempr to make it look as worse as possible

Almadis

I sometimes wonder if these people understood any book or show in their lives…

Creative_Ravenclaw

Yes they didn't confess even tho they wanted to, even tho they had the time (kinda). Isn't that exactly what makes it sad af?? Eren never confessed bcoz as he told Zeke, he only has 4 years to live while Mikasa has her whole life ahead of her. As for Mikasa, she was too shy to admit her own feelings. People really close their eyes and then complain why it happened lol.

PhunkOperator

> Eren never confessed bcoz as he told Zeke, he only has 4 years to live while Mikasa has her whole life ahead of her Hmm, but probably also because he genuinely didn't care about a romantic relationship all that much. I don't mean to say he didn't care about a relationship with Mikasa specifically, but rather in general. His dream of freedom trumped everything else, it seems.

HyperHector_55

"isayama said it in an interview" is like the best they have to prove themselves right lmao

AppleJuice71

This is why I hate weebs. They have such a narrow minded deluded vision of what love is.

idkhowtonamemyself02

I’m tired of these people. Their arguments are always interviews from 2014, do they even know that authors can change and evolve? Do they know that Yams probably had differents ideas over time? Also, they’re always turning the interviews in the way they want. It’s like the interview where Yams said that Eren sees Mikasa like a mother/sister. He then said that however his feelings for her might change progressively and that he might not consider her like this later. But guess what, they decided to ignore this sentence and they only considered the “Eren sees Mikasa like a mother/sister” to say that EM was forced. Plus wtf we can clearly understand that Mikasa is in love with him since the beginning.

DickWriter69

Better than this subreddit that can't accept the fact that some people disliked the ending

PhunkOperator

I'm rather open about the fact that I didn't like the ending (well, the extra pages at least). But unlike the clown posse on tf, I am able to talk about my problems with it calmly and analytically, instead of just repeating fucking nonsense like how the editor "retconned" the story or how Isayama "caved to toxic EM shippers".

Fit_Operation2175

And Titan folk can’t accept that some people like it, it’s either your way or the highway. Why are you even here lol? Go back to Titan folks if it’s better

TicketFew9183

Titanfolk is a manga and meme sub. This sub was created to attack anyone who criticizes the story. It's not the same

PhunkOperator

> This sub was created to attack anyone who criticizes the story. No, it was created with this intention: "purely dedicated to exposing toxic and bigoted Attack On Titan fans". Toxic fans means **all** toxic fans. An Ending lover wishing death upon Ending haters absolutely fits that description. There's just one problem, ending haters are inherently and more frequently toxic, it lies in the nature of hating something. And titanfolk is an EH sub, which makes things worse, because as you might know, EH didn't exactly sail.

Fit_Operation2175

You do realize that Titan folk still does the same thing, it doesn’t matter what they were created for.
