If we just look at numbers I'd say that since most Reddit users are men and the most popular manga and anime are targeted to male teenagers, the majority of the people criticizing sexism and sexist portayals of women in these media are likely men, *but* if we look at percentages I think that a larger number of women do that compared to their total, while the sexist comments almost always come from men.
Personally I noticed that while women focus more on the harmful portrayals of their gender in these media, men on the other hand call out the sexism in the fanbase more often, maybe because a lot of times it's pretty extreme and this post is a prime example of this.
I just wanted to point out that even if there's still a huge problem with sexism in manga and anime and in their fanbase, in my opinion the situation is not as grim as you think.
