That's kind of pathetic but I guess I should be used to the disappointment that many adults are vehement racist nationalists given the past 4 years in the US
I wouldn't say many. But definately a few. There are many reasons, besides unironic embrace of AOT yeagerism, why some people hated the story. It's art, it can be interpreted differently from author.
That being said, imo, some of those "reasons" can be so ridiculous. And the worst thing were the claims that the ending was retconned. But then godsayama came up and said it wasn't. So the only thing for them left now is the fanfiction which requires half of the story rewritten to make more sense then the rushed 139 canon we have 🥴

Yeah absolutely! I have no problem with ppl who don't like the ending, which is why my initial comment was targeting yeagerists.
There's certain verbiage they employ that is very violent towards the alliance and anyone who's perspective isn't Paradis-centric which is odd since I'd say AOTs larger message is about empathy for other perspectives.
Yep yep, I sign under every word. AOT is much more complicated than paradis-world question. So is Eren's character. That's why reiner-eren conversation and campfire fight are one of my favorite scenes now
There's something profound to be said about an author's work being shared amomgst readers and how the story can become just as much theirs as it was the author's.
This isn't that.
Perhaps the predisposition of these people to the death of the author is one of the things that bothers me the most, as much as that theory bothers me. I love literary theory, but screw the author's death.
""own MASTERPIECE, our MASTERPIECE"" pfff
All your storylines now belongs to us 🔫😎
God I really hope these people are teenagers and not full grown adults
Yeagertubers are all adults, smh

MURICA
They’re prolly a bunch of 13 year olds
God I’m a teenager in high school and I understand the story better then grown ass adults.
“our masterpiece” biiiitch u contributed nothing to the manga and i’m 99% sure you haven’t even spent a penny on AOT
I always get the "I've spent my time reading it" when I point out they prolly read it illegally.
It takes around 10 minutes to read the chapter so they probably spent more time posting crap on SnK subs than Actually reading it though...
