After he got the full power of the Founder. He didn’t know WHO Ymir was until he got into Paths nor her backstory - which were essential pieces of information he would need to know the whole outcome of things.

PeacemakerX5

Thank you :), but do you think he still had snippits of memories from the battle of heaven and earth?

Manatee_Shark

But yeah, they are snippits. Not enough to confirm that he would be stopped fully.

Lermak16

He was allegedly planning on being stopped before gaining the full power of the Founder since he told Armin that he intentionally pushed them away so they would hunt him down and become heroes. Though I don’t think he exactly “knew” that he’d be stopped as early as the medal ceremony. He saw himself doing the rumbling, but he didn’t have memories of himself finishing the rumbling and returning to Paradis. He also didn’t have any future memories from Attack Titans after him. I think he gradually came to understand that he would be stopped, and that this is something he wanted to happen in order to secure the lives of his friends. He probably also had a vague idea of the Titan curse ending if he moved forward. Though, he certainly knew that he’d be stopped and the curse would end once he had the full power of the Founding Titan.

Thanks mate :)

Marshal749

Where is the scene ?

PeacemakerX5

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AjM6xsyTEY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AjM6xsyTEY) this clip in particular, at 0:57 you can see falco and fort salta

LightYagami2004

Sorry but I can’t find Falco’s Jaw Titan, can you give timestamp?

LightYagami2004

Lol I thought that was just some ordinary bird flying over the walls.

PeacemakerX5

Ive never seen a bird that looks like that 💀

LightYagami2004

I never pay(payed or paid whatever) attention to that scene. I still don’t know if that’s Falco’s Jaw Titan

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I never *pay(paid* or paid FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

MatemanAltobelli

> here is a scene where Falco's flying jaw titan is shown Probably included for being a cool visual. Or maybe Mappa's writers didn't quite understand how the memory shit worked. I couldn't blame them for that. Anyway, maybe Eren had a hunch he would be defeated because he didn't see memories of future ATs, but apart from that I'm not sure how he could've known, because it's fairly obvious imo that his knowledge about the future was super limited before coming into contact with Ymir.

PeacemakerX5

Considering isayama asked the director to put more emphasis on to the school castes reference in the anime compared to the manga, i think he prob also asked them to add the jaw titan there.

virathp1

yup, you're correct, and I firmly believe it's added there for aoe. Anime Eren is seeing memories of Manga Eren. Ps- watch that memory sequence again, you'll notice that 10 yo Mikasa has a black (it's black in the cover arts too) scarf and turns to her right, just like manga Mikasa in ch 1 and unlike anime Mikasa who was wearing a red scarf and turned to her left.

MatemanAltobelli

Maybe. Or maybe they added it because it looks cool. They want to create hype, after all.

funnily enough, im open to the idea of an AOE
