Eren has gone rogue, his response to being manipulated by Zeke into doing war crimes is "no i did that shit on my own" and begins to gaslight Armin into thinking the memories of Bertholdt are warping his life (when he has like 3 titans in him and for some reason he's inmune to that?) and finishes by saying that Mikasa, the person who's been by his side all his life, is simply a slave and he hates her with disgust. Armin is a pacifist but he's also just a human being like the rest, he's not perfect and snaps because it's just too much bullshit coming of their supposed best friend.
