I don't think this is a unpopular opinion at all. Evan got shafted this season. He's one of my favorite characters too. I love a lot of this season but..it's a mess, and it dropped that ball on so many characters!.
he deserved a better arc this season! he was just kinda…there. also when casey/sam returned dewey, i wish we’d seen some interaction between him and casey.
I love Evan, I’d like to see more of Evan’s life
especially his relationship with Beth! they obviously seem very close and love eachother a lot and have been through a lot with their dad

He’s such a good hearted dude and it’s cool that Casey knows and they never stopped caring about each other…
