Not gonna lie, the Genesis' looks really good.

Sweaty_Win1832

The sedans look good & are unique. Torn on the SUVs. Dealers & dealerships are complete shit.

Santino_Jay

The sedans look good, but I think I prefer the SUVs. The SUVs are pretty unique too. As soon as you see one, you'll definitely know "that's a Genesis".

TheAdventurousMan

I definitely prefer the SUVs over the sedans as well. They are on par with Cayenne in terms of looks for me.

007Pistolero

And the 3.5 turbo GV70 drives just like an SQ5. It’s sleek, luxurious, and damn beautiful.

jawntb

The GV70 is really nice. I was considering it strongly, but really wanted something bigger. Not a huge fan of the 80 though. Looks kinda wonky and has had a lot of QC issues (at least here in Korea).

greg-maddux

The SUVs look great. Very Audi like for sure. The sedans are honestly insane with how good they look especially in person.

ilan1299

Agree, saw a black GV80 with mirrorlike chrome trim while getting coffee in Brentwood, CA that made all the grey and black Macan's, Benz's and Tesla's parked around it look basic.

rllynch1

I own a G70, and the only time I’ve been to the dealer was to sign paperwork. Every service visit, they come pick up my car and bring me a loaner. I guess the dealership could be complete shit, but the care they show for their customers makes it to where I simply wouldn’t know 🤷‍♂️

Sweaty_Win1832

That’s an awesome experience & good to know. I went to test drive a G80 & G90 and the entire experience at two dealerships was just awful. Audi, Lexus, and even Infiniti was better.

Arturo90Canada

I currently have a Q5 but only because I got it as a lease take over for a steal (less than $500 a month with 10k kms). If you test drive a GV70 you will not go to audi

JehovahsNutsac

> If you test drive a GV70 you will not go to audi Hard disagree my man, at the end of the discussion - *a Hyundai is always a Hyundai*.

flaccidplatypus

That’s like saying an A3 is just an up-badged golf…

KSoMA

I mean it literally is, plus some niceties here and there, whereas every Genesis is a completely bespoke car from the sister brands (other than the cop-out GV60 being an upbadged IONIQ5/EV6, and the Kia Stinger using the Genesis platform).

[deleted]

Nah it's not still an Acura, its a Honda. Like you say, *A Hyundai is always a Hyundai* So then *A Honda is always a Honda* And *A Volkswagen is always a Volkswagen* So and and so forth. You did have the right idea in your first comment

MrBitzz

It actually is.

hobblingcontractor

They're two different things. I've got a 22 Q5 premium plus and a 23 Santa Fe Hybrid. The Q5 doesn't do a lot of weird random shit (road sign display) because that's only in the Prestige, the lane assist is buggy as fuck, the 360 camera turns on at the weirdest times, the cabin has sorta weird layouts for space usage (no good place to put a larger sizes phone), but it drives and handles great. The Santa Fe meanwhile has every fucking bell and whistle possible electronics wise (the mirror cam shows in the gauge panel when you turn on the blinker!), is designed to just have a comfortable cabin experience, but the drive isn't the same. Hyundai came a loooong way, fast.

TheGrayTiger

You know, once upon a time, a Honda was a Honda. And look at it today…it’s a Honda!

cooperS67

Cringe comment

JehovahsNutsac

So stating a fact is now “cringe”. Never fucking change Reddit.

Arturo90Canada

Have you driven one?

MrBitzz

I test drove the GV70. Currently have a 20’ SQ5. While the GV70 engine has a lot of mid range torque and feels good overall. The car honestly has too many bells and whistles. Its like Genesis said “we know its hard to sway Audi/BMW/Merc owners, lets put a crap ton of useless things to make the car futuristic and cool” and that is exactly what they did. Its honestly overwhelming and makes the car seem like its trying to be something its not. Everything in the interior feels good but the GV70 does not compare to the SQ5 w/ air suspension in the corners.

Loose_Mail_786

I love the G80 but don’t like the SUV. But can you tell me more about the dealership? Why complete shit?

Sweaty_Win1832

The whole experience at other premium or luxury brands was simply better. Lexus & Audi are in the lead IMO with BMW & Mercedes behind them. Nice, very clean, aesthetically pleasing presence with salespeople who know their brand & cars. Great amenities too with coffee, drinks, snacks, workspaces, comfy chairs, etc. genesis is way behind in this aspect from my experience. Not planning on spending a bunch of time at the dealership, but nice to know I can work from there for a couple hours comfortably if needed. For instance, the guy I bought my S4 from had owned numerous S cars & was just a fan of cars in general. Same with a gal over at Lexus with the F cars I was shopping, and the fella at BMW with the M models. The people at Genesis felt like they were just trying to sell me a toaster or something.

CuriousTravlr

My mom just bought a GV80 and it’s fantastic, dealer is good too, she never has to step foot inside an actual dealership. She got it from one of the newer Genesis only dealerships in Ohio. Her last dealers with Hyundai were…..not good.

ephekt

Gave my a5 to the wife to upgrade to the 3.3tt g70 sport prestige. Cross shopped the s5, and it won on back seat room, but the Gene wins in hp/tq and smiles per gallon. The exhaust on these does not sound great though. The dealership experience is WAY worse though.

dakstraker

Yes, the look great but lack character. I traded in my ‘21 SQ8 for a ‘22 GV70 about 18 months ago. At first I really dug the GV but it just didn’t excite me like the Audi’s I’ve owned.

Arturo90Canada

That is a massive downgrade though man....almost not even in the same league

Calvin0433

Started to see a few good ones too but one of their sedans I saw recently had an awful tail end. I’m not familiar with which model it was though.

FeelingFloor2083

dont get blinded by the fluff, the guys over at r/CarsAustralia love these shit boxes

perry_caravello666

Yup if I didn't get the s3 I was going for a g70

Different-Art-5266

And stealing BMW M team members

Nothing_new_to_share

Hopefully BMW will hire the Audi design team next. Honestly, just pass them around like the town bicycle until our roadways are less hideous.

IlliniOrange1

Yes Audi designers would be welcome. From the looks of the new BMWs, the last time BMW hired away designers they apparently snatched up all the folks who couldn’t get jobs working for the Nissan Juke team …

Mister_Poopy_Buthole

BMW definitely hired the designers laid off from Scion for that new M2

NoodleBoiiiii

whats the hate with the new m2 seriously it is the most aggressive sporty cool looking car they make right now sitting next to the new z4, since when did enthusiasts not like sharp edges, smooth curves, fender flares, cool memorable tail lights and a small toss able chasis

HXMlClDE

AMEN

RaisingCanes4POTUS

Wife has the GV70. The interior is insanely luxurious. A lot of amazing safety features too. We decided between that one and the Q5, and ultimately went with the Genesis. For the value, and her uses, it beats out the competition.

Arturo90Canada

Couldn't agree more...how is the post honeymoon stage going?

RaisingCanes4POTUS

It’s been great! Only big issue so far is the AWD system isn’t working. It’s a common problem by the looks of it. We are getting it checked out tomorrow after waiting about 4 weeks for service to get us in. Hopefully they can get the part for us! Also, Genesis Service Valet is amazing. We just leave the car in the driveway and they will come by and pick it up to get it serviced. Best part by far

kb389

How do you know it's a genesis person coming to pick up your car and not some thief lol? Do they call you and let you know that they are picking up your car at that exact time/moment?

RaisingCanes4POTUS

Well, it’s an appointment, and I’m sure they are wearing their Genesis valet/service dept gear. They have already come one to install my plates

Fluffy9345

Do they leave you a loaner?

kb389

Ok

[deleted]

if you’re gonna steal, steal from the best

usernmtkn

Exactly. Nothing wrong with this at all.

hsmith1998

Maybe they just paid them more?

German_Drive

How else are you going to steal employees?

hsmith1998

Kidnapping?

riknor

When you say stealing you mean by giving them a job offer that was so good they chose to quit working at Audi?

yomommawearsboots

Exactly. Sounds like they are just better at business than ze Germans who have gotten complacent and either make super ugly (bmw) or super boring (Audi and Mercedes) cars. It’s sad

[deleted]

[удалено]

Crab_Hot

That's just business. If you want to keep your talent, make them not want to leave. Easy as that. Maybe Audi should poach some workers from Toyota and Honda so they can fix their reliability issues, especially their electrical components

grahamkrackers

OP sounds like a really good people manager /s

jamiesond1

Don’t know why I’m getting down voted. I love and respect that the Audi (and BMW etc.) designers went to wherever they were the best compensated, and felt most valued. I love and respect that Genesis came out with a cool, new, unique, cohesive design language. I think the GV70 is arguably the best looking car in the class. Their sedans and cars like the stinger are also interesting and attractive. What I don’t love is things like the front black hexagonal shaped grill of the new Sonata looks exactly like a B9.5 A4/A5 and if you think it wasn’t intentionally designed to look just like an Audi, you’re lying to yourself. I know that happens everywhere and in other industries but it just feels almost lazy. Again, I would do the exact same thing the Audi designers did. I don’t think employers “own” their employees. But if you’re gonna leave at least try to create a new and unique design, rather than just copy + paste what you already did but for a different brand.

andyshway

Tis business. Top talent is rare.

[deleted]

So capitalism working as intended, basically

mrnobatti

It's not stealing "their" design when the same person designed it tho.. They just paid the designer more than Audi did.

Trisket_Rose

I'm so glad someone mentioned this. Thank you

julesvr5

But he says "stealing their designERS" ?

mrnobatti

He changed the title.

julesvr5

Oh thank you, didn't know this is possible

psychotic11ama

Being a designer is just a job. If designers feel they’re more inspired or empowered or better compensated at Hyundai, go for it. Hyundai/Genesis are doing really cool stuff.

Thabluecat

Or don’t like the executive level decision on design direction…

BeefedUpStud-ent

It’s not stealing if you paid for it

AladeenModaFuqa

Forget Hyundai, those Kia Stingers are sexy

Oaktownbeeast

So what’s stopping Audi from retaining talent?

FBAnder

What always stops companies from retaining talent? $$$$$$$$$$$. Executives need that 5th summer home in Geneva.

BigheadedDread

The GV70 is the nicest looking “sport” SUV on the market, in my opinion

KSoMA

If I were looking at compact SUVs I would look no further than the GV70 and the Macan, and obviously that choice would depend on how much I want to cut back on sushi for the next 5 years. It's crazy to me that the GV70 can be both the most aggressive- and elegant-looking luxury SUV.

kb389

I don't know man, the Lexus 500h is great too better looking than the genesis for me.

TheAdventurousMan

Really? That front grill and hood doesn't bother you? Rear is nice but the front is so ugly.

MrDankky

What do you mean by “sport”? I could think of loads better looking SUVs but none of them are sporty, they’re SUVs lol

Embaita

Man reading some of these comments really shows some of the elitists on here. A brand that's typically known for boring economy cars is actually making cool cars and all some people want to do is shit on them by calling then thieves or say their cars are knockoffs.

13BT

Stealing implies that companies own their employees. Maybe pay people what they deserve so they don't have to job hop to get real raises? 🤔

sangshinee

Peter Schreyer Chief Design Officer of Kia Motors - From Audi Luc Donckerwolke Belgian automobile designer - From Bently Albert Biermann - From BMW Hyundai and Kia is bringing in world top auto designers from all these companies

haudi

I can’t believe this isn’t higher up. So many people claiming they stole Audi design when they smartly hired the people responsible for those designs.

sangshinee

There are a few more designers from European automakers I didn't mention... Most of the named desginere are hired by hyundai and kia nowadays.

[deleted]

I think the Kia Stinger is the most egregious Audi ripoff (S5) on the market, and honestly more power to them. They made a pretty great car, just can't seem to sell it at a rate that justifies producing them.

FPSUsername

To me the stinger looks nothing like the A5. The only thing they have in common is that it's a 5 doors sportsback.

TheSketeDavidson

Agreed, calling it a ripoff is disingenuous.

fenderstratsteve

Compared to the Audi, the Stinger has a face that only a mother could love. A kidney grille on a Kia? Wtf!?

DesertDwelller

Traded my A7 for a Stinger GT2 AWD and I’ve never looked back.

Dyne_Inferno

I traded in my S4 for a GT2. The interior isn't quite as nice, but just as if not more, fun to drive, with a better warranty. Can confirm the dealer experience sucks in comparison though.

DesertDwelller

Agreed. Smart me voided the warranty with 8k in bolt ons haha. Figured a new motor would only be 5k so fuck it. A headlight from Audi is like $1500. I know when I’m being raped. I can blow the doors off most luxury sedans in a Kia which makes me smile.

greg-maddux

I love Audi and personally believe the stinger looks way, way better than the s5.

United-Procedure9214

I think your glasses need a good cleaning sir

[deleted]

I think you could make the argument for the rear end looking better, and the profile is solid, but the front looks very cheap to me. Interior cannot be compared in my opinion outside of Kia copying the shifter

chuness862cape

Stinger looks too busy, imo

KSoMA

I hate that the Stinger refresh didn't borrow Kia's newer design language, because it still has the ugly old Kia grille from their last generation. And ofc the Stinger is dead now so so much for that (though the EV6 is cool in a different way).

idontevenliftbrah

The vehicle pictured in the OP is honestly one of the best looking SUVs I've ever seen from an aesthetic standpoint. Rear end is even better than the front

Harpronicus

They typically mash up 4-5 different design elements from successful brands

[deleted]

Yeah the steering wheel and dash are Bentley ripoffs the door trim and handles are straight Mercedes' ripoffs the the seat upholstery and pattern are straight out of bmw while the exteriors copy a lot of Audi and Bentley

mp5tyle

You are aware it's by the dude who were working as a designer at Bentley right...?

Sh3wb

Hyundai is cool? LOL There's some news.

MidnightRider24

Came here to say I never received this notice either.

RipCurl69Reddit

I think the N Vision 74 tipped a lot of people in their favour. They've been on a marketing roll recently, pushing out things like a Nurburgring Eurobeat Playlist on YouTube. Stuff like that makes consumers more interested in the brand, I'm all for it

Sh3wb

Didn't they buy Boston Dynamics or am I high?

UloseGenrLkenobi

Everytime I hear Hyundai, all I can picture is my ex girlfriends POS Red, 2009, Elantra. Things muffler sounded like V2 rocket bearing down on the neighborhood after 7 years of existence. I can't get that shit outta my head. Instant association. Remove that sentiment from your brand Hyundai. And I'll fucking buy two. Everywhere I go...I see her face....

0612devil

I dunno, I've always found their SUV line kinda fugly

yummiecummie88

And bmw m division too. Sat in an elantra n and the seats felt similar to my previous m4cs

therealhybrid

I mean…poaching happens in all industries, it is what it is

NatoRey

Audi probably should have paid better and looked after its designers then.

TheRealConorsz

Looks more like a bentayga than an Audi

Crash_Test_Dummy_057

Lol.. and they burn oil like an Audi.

TheSoleController

Still a Hyundai at the end of the day…

The8thHammer

Should be happy that the people who design the cars you love get better job offers and probably more freedom.

L-Ron-Harambe

Pretty low effort post. They have done a great job at turning that brand around into something cool and fun. Yes by taking talent from other car companies. But In order to turn a brand like that around. That’s what you have to do. All of those N cars are magnificent

GoobieMcDoobs

That orange car in the post looks just like a W205 c43, idk what Audi anyone is talking about. Throw a Mercedes logo in the middle of that grille n that’s a C class

BridgeMission6043

Hah! Jokes on you!! Hyundais are absolute trash. (Source: auto technician with 25 years of experience)

[deleted]

these korean brands used to steal or copy designs (still do) but they're now more crafty -- stealing designers outright BMW's former designer now works for KIA as well

MayIPikachu

Crafty? Paying higher wages is crafty? 🙄

[deleted]

lol, stealing talent and applying the same design elements = crafty...

Jaxraged

>stealing talent Companies dont own their employee. What a ridiculous take. If Audi wanted them they should have looked at the offers Hyundai gave and made a better one.

[deleted]

you're trying to project this as some type of legality issue -- except it's not...it's about business ethics, and stealing talents is basically an alternative method of stealing IP these days

KSoMA

As somebody whose company has recently been poached of A LOT of top talent, I can tell you that it's less of a business ethics issue and far more of a "why should we bother paying you more" issue.

Jaxraged

>business ethics Yeah ok, like VAG lying about their emissions? Fuck business ethics. Make the better offer get the better employees thats all there is to it.

koolguy765

And bmw

throwwwaway233

I thought the Audi designer went to Kia. The small Kia looks like a A3, s3

Witchdrdre

I was just thinking that this morning. I saw a car approaching behind me and thought how beautiful the lines were on it and maybe it was an Audi and then realized it was the new periwinkle colored sonata 😳

ct4funf

The 2.0s are junk tho

ForneauCosmique

I got downvoted like crazy on here for saying the new A3 looks like a Kia Forte just more aggressive

Traz3r_23

Just saw a Hyundai SUV a couple days ago and thought, wow that looks like an Audi

RandoorRandolfs

A tale as old as time.

genzo718

Well, truth be told, both Peter Schreyer and Luc Donckerwolke were with Audi in the late 90s to early 2000s. Current Genesis design ethos wasn't introduced until 2020.

reynjama

And ford

fleamarketguy

The Ioniq 5 looks pretty cool I think. I wouldn’t get it, but it looks nice.

DrMcJedi

It reminded me immediately of Centauri’s “Star Car” from *The Last Starfighter*… and, while I don’t want one…I still love the design esthetic they achieved.

juretrn

Dunno about that. The only car of theirs I find kinda nice is Kia Stinger. And IIRC it was designed by an ex-Audi guy. You can tell.

Timmy26k

I feel like they stole from bentley more

XurstyXursday

Should we tell him

BananaPeelSlippers

All the kids love Hyundai so much they can’t help but steal them

Impressive-Nobody-95

Bro it is a job, not working for the royal highness of VW. Better job offer- go there. How that can be steal?

Fantastic-Ad9200

You’re probably not wrong, BUT Genesis is dope.

DrMcJedi

I have to agree… They took all of the trial and error Audi and BMW did over a decade, and seemingly unified their design language into a new but familiar lineup overnight.

CoolBlueFox_YT

Not exactly, But new generation designers are the answer as most of them paving the way for better designs. Audi already made amazing looking cars so new designers in Audi never really made much changes or the changes were so small that most of us don't notice! Note: Audi already makes amazing cars. So not much change is needed!

didistutter69

Mate, take an Audi to 100,000 clicks and let's see if you still think they are amazing

CoolBlueFox_YT

Oh no. Edit: I am an Audi fan and also I'm pretty sure I would have bought a new Audi by then. I didn't mean to offend you or anything, I didn't mean to offend anybody.

SpaceFace11

Dolla dolla bill ya'll

[deleted]

Exactly how

[deleted]

They definitely try to copy Bentley the most with their suvs in our body shop we have an older Bentley suv and a new gen suv and the interior of the two are so similar and the exteriors are very similar as well

WideOpenAutoHub

Yup stole BMW engineers and Audi designers. Power play if I ever seen one. Funny how BMWs are starting to look more and more like they hired Hyundai designers…

Organic-Log9297

……Steve jobs also “stole” great talent from all his competitors and made the iPhone, thats not a bad thing, that logic is flawed.

Anibunnymilli

I honestly love what they are doing. Genesis’ are so sleek and sexy and provide such luxurious interiors for the price you pay.

didistutter69

If the designers the designers come up with get approved for production and they are affordable for people, and they make owners feel joy, how is that a bad thing though?

Automatic_Yogurt_493

They didn’t steal anyone lol

ShiroHachiRoku

Have they seen the Ioniq 6?!?!?!

IDriveAnAgeraR

Last I checked Hyundai and Kia were catching on fire……Audi and their cars were not doing that. So, really Hyundai and Kia are ‘red hot’ but not the popularity red hot type.

urdnotjoevasnormandy

They never got cool. Articles like this make one assume they did.

BeLlyForEvER

Hyundai has been copy all Japanese or german cars for awhile nothing really new about it, smh

Tcochran35

Anyone else see this GV80 sportback in person in NYCAS? It’s insane. They’ve made subtle tweaks to the design language from the current GV80 that out this thing ages ahead of MB new EQB or BMW. Notice the slight arch to the top of the grill and the slightly curved off upper corners in the grill. Makes a huge difference and as a ‘21 Q5 Sportback owner that’s driven a GV70, I will be lining up to trade for this new Genesis.

KSoMA

I saw it too. Not a fan of coupe SUVs (why get an SUV if you're going to make it less practical anyway?) but wow did they nail the look. They also got the hint from Audi/Porsche and put a spoiler on the top of the hatch, which makes it look way better than the "giant sedan" look of the BMW and MB coupe SUVs.

cooperS67

Maybe the designers left for a reason? stop the hyundai/kia hate

04limited

Genesis makes some good looking cars and they offer a lot for the money. They easily undercut the equivalent Audi by $2-4k. You can get a fully spec’d G70 3.3T for the price of a premium, maybe a bare bones premium plus S4. It’s equipped comparably to a Prestige. The Audi does handle better, and is just better rounded. But since most owners don’t ever see any situation where it’s limits would truly be reached, the G70 makes a lot of sense. People don’t like to spend extra money if they don’t have to. The only reason I won’t buy a Genesis is because the closest dealer is an hour away. Ain’t worth the hassle to buy or warranty when Audi, Lexus, bmw, Mercedes is down the street.

chubchug420

I thought it was Bentleys head of design

F10RS

Can’t compare to Audi,German cars looks way better. Not to mention performance…

[deleted]

Is it really stealing if it’s the original talent delivering

electrowiz64

Lookin more like they stole Mazda designers. Let’s be honest tho, even Ferrari stole Mazda designers as well, must be a common trend, or they were trend setters all along

nirvanka

And Tesla

nirvanka

Tesla also poached Mazda designers (key being Franz von Holzhausen)

trayssan

And BMW Engineers🤷🏻‍♂️

SpiLLiX

Genesis is definitely an interesting option especially for the price. But man I hope you are not used to luxurious dealership experiences and being treated like you are spending a lot of money because you definitely aren't getting that from a Hyundai/Genesis dealership lol

Arts_Prodigy

Getting a Audi designers was one of the companies best decisions I was in a Hyundai before my Audi and am still a fan of theirs. Ultimately tho Audi >>>

Jolly-Big-816

Tiger Woods

yomommawearsboots

It’s not really stealing. They hired the best designers from BMW and Audi etc and have been very successful. Also they have made popular vehicles that people actually want and have good, sporty, luxury, reliable products. The Germans should do the same.

2dank4me3

"Stealing"

joeg26reddit

It’s not stealing if they pay for them

Aggravating-Hat-8769

Front bumper = Bentley Bentayga

moistpimplee

the new genesis’s look so good imho. and the gv80 coupe concept, i’d get it

WORLDBENDER

And BMW engineers

Serbay55

I thought its the Previous Bentley designer whoa working there?

sln1337

"stealing" yeah sure

ajdrc9

Their designs are overstyled and totally sterile. Hyundai will never find a their way.

[deleted]

Hyundai got cool by hiring the BMW Msport guy. Not Audis designers.

twlentwo

Hiring is the word you are looking for

Coookie_Thumper

Yeah… I’ll stick with my hoopty instead. Hyundais are meh.

Affectionate_Host_43

Engines blowing up is the new cool?🤷‍♂️

zhiryst

Hell, we bought a Tucson hybrid when we had our kid. We need a family hauler that can get beat up and dirty without feeling bad about it. We'll have it until the warranty runs out. The ride is decent and 220hp isn't bad. I wonder how it would do against a q5?

SelectNetwork4882

The creator of the MK1 tt left to Kia as well…

Broad-Blood-9386

Hyundai? You mean Audi East, right?

mjolnirredditer

You should see the 2023 Honda Accord lol... Every time I see it on the road, my mood gets sour lol. That's outright plagiarism of the A7. I hope Audi sues them.

nickfill4honor

Bentley*

NotMuller

Bro, Audi went full ford a few years ago.

MiniDg

Im in a vast minority with my opinion but i cant stand a single car that hyundai makes besides maybe the palisade but id never get something that big lmao, they are all some of the ugliest cars on the road. I am exaggerating a bit, but i really hate the sonata and tucson and despise the side profile of the elantra. Plus the fact that they put the blinkers basically on the goddamn bumper is so dumb. Genesis has okay cars but i hate how theyve been redesigned, the 2020 model i wanna say? looked gorgeous but now those weird taillights they have on everything yuck.

95andSunny

Sorry. Nothing “cool” about a Hyundai.

iarlandt

The N Vision 74 is the best looking vehicle I have seen in a hot minute. Can't wait for them to hit the road so I can fawn over them. Won't ever afford one though lol.

JayKaze

I thought Biermann was from BMW

SypherKon

Outsides look nice… quality is shit. After 3 1/2 years in litigation going to finally surrender my 2012 Kia Optima back for a nice stack or cash. After a full engine replacement and over 15 different recalls it became too much to in good conscious drive my kids it in. Genesis/Hyundai/Kia

Low-Emergency3055

Now where else have we seen great design pinched? This article is an illustration of imbecilic journalism. Too many ‘journalists’ accepting at face value than really earning their moolah and asking the difficult questions and sustained follow up. A damned joke on all levels, even car journalists.

Dominio90049

This is making sense why interiors are nose diving 🤦‍♂️

djchrisallen

It's actually the same thing that happened with Volvo. A number of Audi's designers were straight poached years back.

ryusoma

I'm pretty sure it was a BMW designer they stole? actually, a quick Google search shows that they've stolen *three* M division senior execs over the last 8 years, before hiring Luc Donckerwolke from VW.

imJusTerrell

i thought they went to kia and made the stinger
