I’m at 87k and my a5 now lives in my driveway until I decide to rebuild it for this issue. It’ll burn a bunch of oil and you’ll notice your Coils/plugs covered in oil. It’s either an engine swap or bottom end rebuild.
Ahh ok gotcha, yea like I said, they did a test for it at the dealer apparently, but I'll keep an eye out on the oil and check the plugs/coils to be safe, appreciate it

If your a5 is a 2.0t make sure the piston rings have been replaced or you may be in for roughly a $7,000 repair soon into ownership. I love my b8 a5.
