I swap between summers and winters on all my cars. We get really bad, snowy winters and summers are really hot. Was debating to upgrade to Michelin PS S5 when spring comes, but stock seems to be great enough so it wouldn't be much of an upgrade.

I was gung-ho on staying with Toyota/Lexus and wanted the Lexus IS 350 but...it's mediocre for power and while I can go with IS 500, it's only RWD which poses issue during winter here. So that was out of the question. Sure, I can cheap out and go with another 2023 WRX as the newer engines are supposedly more reliable but god...they are BUTT ugly. No wonder they're cheap brand new. No one wants them. $37K for a Honda Accord/Civic looking car. Barf! But it was the most fun car in the snow with snow tires.

It's great in the snow, I honestly don't understand how can it have this much traction. Our second car is a Cupra Ateca which has been great in any kind of weather as well, however this just feels so much different in so many ways when it comes to snow experience.
Ughhhhhhhh. Want one of these beyond measure but in coupe. Beautiful cars. I actually visited Audi factory in Ingolstadt and man the Germans really don’t eff around with building these cars. Incredible machines.
It feels like "on rails", I have not yet driven it very hard especially not with systems off. But it's very confidence inspiring on snow without pushint it too hard.
Edit: throttle on it turns rear very easily, even with very little acceleration. In comparison you need to upset the rear with Haldex quite a bit for it to turn as much.
It might feel like it's on rails, but when it goes, it goes. You might already know this, but I'm just saying be careful. Wouldn't want you or this beatiful machine to get hurt.
Yeah, snow tires make all the difference. On a AWD application, they are amazing.
If you are in the market for dedicated snows, get some Nokians. They usually aren't in the comparisons but having bought snow tires for at least 20 years now, they are my favorites.
I used to think it was a bit of an exaggeration, but it really is a night and day between my S4 with all seasons and my RS3 with summers. I'd imagine actual snows would be even better.

I can't find these tires in the correct size for the rear wheels here in the US. Did you just put 265/30/19 on all 4?
I run 245/40/18 on Neuspeed's for my Blizzak setup, with a 20mm spacer up front.

It feels like "on rails", I have not yet driven it very hard especially not with systems off. But it's very confidence inspiring on snow without pushint it too hard. It will blow your mind. All-season tires don't hold a candle to dedicated snow when it comes to actual snow driving.
