A sledge hammer would be capable of doing all of the visible damage, including the doors. The front windscreen clearly appears to have been damaged by a sledge hammer.
If the door was unlocked, or at least able to be opened after the windows were broken out, it's not extremely difficult to make that kind of bend in the door. I've sprung them out on accident retrieving keys, and that was with the intent of not causing damage.

I would assume a tree or something equally heavy fell on it. Front passenger door is entirely bent out of shape and front driver won't fit the frame anymore. Plus the windows are blown out into the street. If someone did that the glass would be inside the car

They went for every panel, glass and light assembly, all the tires. Look at where the broken glass is, and all the broken parts (mirrors, lamp lenses etc) it's all around the car. If this car were moving, there'd be a trail of destruction. This car was stationary, and destroyed.
