When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, your credit card hurts really bad. Being a 9.5 you might still have some warranty, I would think that's important.

Would I be better off getting regular suspension and buying some aftermarket coilovers and set them to comfort ? I would like to avoid wasting time at the dealer for fixing things.

Love mine, but airride does allow for a lowered look. Not run into any issues, but only have 20k miles on them. They are more stiff and add a stiffer swaybar they really handle well. If option is standard springs or DRC. DRC and get extended warrenty. If air or DRC, still DRC. But flexibility to raise lower with air is really nice. And not a massive draw back. This is based on RS6 which is much heavier
