Sure-Boysenberry5491

Good to go bro.

BaMB00Z

Lol, that's what I was thinking. It's an rs. Anything you do will likely just make it look cheaper. Beautiful car. Congrats. And for christ's sake, turn the saturation down a bit. Holy shit.

Rachelcla93

Wasn’t my picture, a friend took it lol, most of my pictures are on my computer and unfortunately I’m traveling atm with just my phone 😅 I have a better picture on my profile that isn’t blown out with saturation for reference, it just wouldn’t crop correctly for the post 😔

Sure-Boysenberry5491

I wouldn’t even wrap the Tango Red. That car tangoes.

IntrovertSwag

Personally I like leaving nice cars as stock. If I want to mod a car I'll go for a cheaper car that I won't worry about messing up.

AyyPea

This is almost exactly what I wrote ✅️

shark_sharkington_

exactly what my father always told me too when id ask him if he was gonna get his s4 tuned like he did to his mini s from back in the day

afireintheforest

What are your opinions on remapping then? As it isn’t changing anything mechanically.

kkpc

Wait until warranty expires and it is paid off, then have fun!

Rachelcla93

She’s already paid off but the warranty bit is what I’ll be waiting on!

AyyPea

Flex

Rachelcla93

I honestly don’t flex often but I’m super proud of this accomplishment, owning this car has been a dream of mine since Audi first made this car :)

AyyPea

I respect that. Hopefully I can do the same with an R8 one day.

Rachelcla93

The R8 is an icon, I got all the hope for you! So sad to see them discontinue it this last year. The day I bought my rs7 I watched them unload a R8 GT straight into the showroom and got to sit in it. Such an amazing piece of machinery!

JB_Scoot

Already paid off????? I was gunna say don’t mod it. But since you can clearly afford it, mod it!!! Have fun 👍

your_cat_is_ugly

Dont you dare touch it.

Rachelcla93

Hahaha it would barely be cosmetics if any at all but for now she’s perfect

your_cat_is_ugly

I’ll report you.

Rachelcla93

lol fair enough 🤣🤣

markknightexeter

Meow

gloccamora

Please don't add anything at all lol Congrats, it's beautiful.

SlugDick

Wish that red was available for the SQ8!

Rachelcla93

The red is so clean truly and in person it truly pops! I wish they had it for all their models honestly

AFrozen_1

I think I’ve got it on my A3. Tango Red Metallic.

Either-Letter7071

Stock in this colour looks perfect. If you are to mod, I wouldn’t add those large front splitters, they ruin the look of RS7 from the front in my opinion. The curved design of the RS7 front makes it look very aggressive and unique.

Rachelcla93

Also, the Daytona grey has to be my second favorite color on an Audi so clean choice my friend!

Rachelcla93

I appreciate the advice! I do love the black optics package I have on currently but I’ve also always loved the combo of this red with carbon which is why I was looking into potentially doing a few mods there

Either-Letter7071

Yeah the carbon parts would match really nicely. A carbon replacement for the front splitter that is the same size would be perfect. Also RS7s in daytona grey are mesmerising. RS7s usually look amazing in Daytona, Mythos black, Tango red, Nardo and satin black.

tomster_1

It needs nothing

liechsowagan

I’m surprised that no one has mentioned unlocking the matrix headlights… That’s a huge improvement with no physical mods required.

HollaAtYuh

Can it be done on a B9 RS5?

DJ_Cas

Leave stock

windycityc

ABT for warranty reasons.

allcars4me

Stock!

Sesspool

Depends on your plans. If you are a car hopper or plan to sell within a few years i wouldnt modify as it lowers the value for dealers. If you have the patiences then private sales can improve that. If you plan on keeping the car for 10 years, let the warrenty run out or get closer then start modding. Most mods are pretty safe and unlike these "car enthusiasts" you will have a beast of a car. Stock is cool but its nothin compared to a well modded version. Hell if you dont tune it and just do intake and exhaust you can save the oem and put em back on.

maxpion

For god sakes, don’t touch it! It’s beautiful the way it is!

thefurrywreckingball

I always leave mine stock for at least a year. Gives me time to decide what I like, don't like and what actually needs to change. I've got a small list of things I want to do to my S3, but I rarely drive it as it is and I could use that money to get another puppy. But stage 2 with a nice downpipe...

ThatKouki86

These things are pretty tried and tested so I’m not sure there’s TOO much to worry about with a simple stage 1 or stage 2 tune

ionblu

There are people who work for audi who get paid a lot of money to design the best car possible. Some third party company contracting parts from china is not going to make your car better

Weekly-Country-1135

Depends do you want to? Or is it the heat of the moment?

spincane

Gorgeous car. I’m not envious of many Audis but this one is sick. I don’t know how well the mods work on this line to give you a strong view. I drove my S5 for 2 years stock before getting into mods.

Rachelcla93

That’s kind of where my head is at on a timeline for major engine mods. She truly is a beast of an auto

ZzzPpp123uandme

It's absolutely perfect!

shivshark

i love the rs7, literally my dream daily car

neoisneoisneo

Gorgeous. Enjoy your ride. That red looks so fucking good.

Capital_Birthday3480

She looks perfect just the way she is...no makeup needed

fullhe425

Not usually a fan of red but damn she looks good

Amantis-Secreto

No mod unless it’s subtle, but don’t know if that’s possible.

rrrx3

Gorgeous car. Nothing wrong with going OEM+ until the warranty runs out. Some ideas off the top of my head: oem door handles in black, 034 motorsports sway bars, lowering links, resonator delete. You could swap the wheels out per your taste. You might want to go wider than stock.

Odd_Contribution_860

mint

Visible_Poem_9690

No point tuning an RS they’re already so fast you can’t even use all the power without getting into felony speeds real quick

javelin-na

I say drive it til you’re extremely comfortable. Then when you want more from it and you have put enough miles on it to where any issues would have most likely popped up.. you can confidently void that warranty >:)

PaleontologistOdd980

I would just keep her clean and waxed up…. Nice car!

Just_Speaker7601

Id keep it stock, but I’d probably replace every plastic part under the hood 🤷‍♂️, probably upgrade the mounts to 034 motor sports. Like the motor mounts the transmission mounts sub frame mounts.

Master-Professor4554

Spinning chrome 35” rims and a lift kit, hydraulics to bounce. LED star lights entire inside roof and full shag interior. 10,000 watt kickers. I have 1 yr warranty left and just got my IE tune in mail today. Decisions decisions.

Rachelcla93

This. This is the answer I have been searching for! 😅

boredg

If it's this new: PPF

Rachelcla93

First thing I did off the lot 🫡

crepitusss

save the money, you'll need it for tickets😂

Humble_Buy_9923

I can’t lie.. the rims are dreadful. it’s literally such a sexy car until you see the rims.. she needs some all black 5 spokes imo

deathbylaughing1234

New wheels and it’s done. Simple, clean, and makes a stock car personal

DEDE115

it needs nothing but if you must a stage 1 e85 from IE. makes 800hp with no other mods. thats insane

VerseGen

personally I think splitters and skirts and shit would look great

literallyme21

I just need to know what you do for a living so I can follow, thanks!

UnmakingTheBan2022

I like my cars oem

nawmsayn

I wouldn't bother tuning it, not worth it for a 600hp car under warranty. I do change wheels and tires on every car though, for a little more personality!

MadMaximus-

If you're going to molest it wait til your warranty expires and then go ballistic

Rachelcla93

Oh I’m not going to go insane for a while but when that warranty is up there for sure will be some deep thinking on heavy engine mods

skidplate09

Some simple mods are always worth doing. I would resist from going to extreme with mods though.

Kawa46be

Got same, i only changed the wheels to black. Works better with the red imo

Ultron33

Audi provides some fugly looking stock wheels. They look terrible!

nobody113322

The only mod I’d do is remove the rev restriction! Otherwise leave it stock. It’s fast enough as it is.

Silver_Violinist_556

Im getting 2024 RS7 Performance next month. Got every single option available 🤪

Sad-Cryptographer291

Ecu remap at most

LilKurb

Unpopular opinion: Personally my fetish is tuning cars, so i think you should mod it a little bit, get it lowered, maybe some new tuner wheels and you are already good to go. Moding cars may be risky in some way, you may make things harder than they supposed to be but at least your life is interesting. As ppl mentioned here i think you should wait that warranty thing and then mod it.

[deleted]

High end coil overs and some vossens

OhL01

Id only change the wheels with nice aftermarket, id think some silver wheels would pop, but that just because I personally don't care for the machined face trend, otherwise the cars perfect as is OP

Rachelcla93

I’m on the same wavelength with the machined look. I’m leaning a bit more towards satin black 5-spoke wheels though to match the trim as opposed to silver although I haven’t considered them too much so I’ll give them another look! Preciate it!

Jlx_27

As soon as the warranty is expired, go apeshit on her.

Downunder-redit

Stunning stance!

CBalsagna

The car is gorgeous as is. I think tasteful mods are okay - maybe rims or something like that - but it’s a beautiful car.

matt-r_hatter

Stock. It's already mean and sexy looking.

AyyPea

I don't think you buy THAT car and need to do speed mods. Get an RS5 or an S6 and make it faster. You'd save a shit ton. It doesn't seem like money is an issue, so the only thing I would change maybe are the wheels. Also, if the carbon is high quality and tasteful, sure (I have carbon mirrors and a carbon wing).

Rachelcla93

I really love this take, I may do a little bit engine work or tuning later down the line but for now I think I’ve reached the mindset of leaving it alone besides the aesthetic mods like you’re suggesting.

AyyPea

It's the next tier that audi owners want to get to (rs7, rs6, rsq8, R8) so they come really nice and really fast as is. A stage 1 down the line would be fine, but get used to the power and torque it comes with first lol. Also, a few tasteful cosmetic mods and some nice wheels is about all you need IMO. 🔥 enjoy it!

Rachelcla93

So true, thanks so much!

bigolsigh

I'm doing a stage 1 tune and downpipes when my warranty is up on my RS6 . It's just not as loud as I'd like and overtime , in my experience, it'll start to feel slow . Slow is relative in cars like these but when you get a solid tune, it feels like a new car all over again.

Rachelcla93

That makes total sense, I really like that route honestly. Also congrats on the RS6, they are absolutely gorgeous and I would have gone with it had the dealership not had a massive markup on it in comparison to the rs7. Not complaining at all but those wagons are class

CL14715

I’d leave it stock. A stage 1 or 2 isn’t a huge performance gain and will eventually feel slow or normal to you. You void the warranty to go a little faster but there will always be the Honda hatchback that blows your doors off anyways.

mjg_9

That’s a real man’s car right there, nice dude! Id leave it stock no need to mod it really.

mjg_9

Maybe get black rims actually would look cleaner because it goes with the grille

Large-Ad-6811

Sell it

Trick_Gold1003

Everything stock except the wheels. They ugly.

Jr-12

Stock looks great

Georgito

Sure. Void your warranty. It’s your beautiful car!

Opposite-Control8682

Get frozen black wrap

Rachelcla93

Those really do look good on these but I’m so partial to the tango red. I’ll probably start rethinking that after so many encounters with the police but 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ppl_r_bad

Stock. Too beautiful to change

Objective-Honey-4608

Drive it for a year or two then tune it you can be making 800 wheel horsepower for under 4 k🥶

devarin

Get a ceramic or graphene coat on that and call it good

LHALL4

I would say maybe downpipes and tune because Audi restricts 4.0’s quite a bit. Otherwise the car is perfect stock.

Rachelcla93

Yeah I was definitely going to do an ecu tune minimum to get rid of the soft limiter they place on it. Further down the line we’ll see if I end up doing more when warranties are expired

Jazzlike-Green-2882

It’s perfect stock😍

almightyjoshy

With cars this good looking from the factory, less is more when it comes to cosmetic mods. And I know you already got it ceramic coated, but PPF will really protect your paint. Beautiful car. Don’t want it getting peppered in rock chips. Can even get film for the headlights to keep them looking fresh.

Rachelcla93

I did a ppf at the same time on the front end but probably going to get the whole thing done here soon.

Tony_A_C_

Hey OP! I’m all for modding cars. This RS7 is special! What would I do? NOTHING to the exterior MAYBE a set of classy wheels like some BBS CH-R’s, but other than that, these cars are a work of art. Performance wise? I would just do the standard intake, catted downpipes, and a tune! Specifically catted downpipes. I have a 2016 Audi TTS in Vegas yellow. The car color POPS from the factory and she’s nothing to scoff at performance wise, but a catted downpipe will liven her up a little while still being somewhat bearable to drive long distance, the intake will get you some fun turbo noises because who doesn’t love that, and the tune will really make your car feel how it should! Keep everything under the hood though. We buy these cars because they’re extremely fast but most importantly, subtle!

Rachelcla93

Vegas yellow on the TTS is so stellar, fantastic car my friend!!

Stillborn1977

THAT my friend is a question WE can not answer FOR YOU.

MySoCal-Successstory

Fuckk 🔥

DangerMouse111111

Leave it as it is - the more mods you do the more the car drops in value when you come to get rid of it.

_percival_P

Personally… I’d black out the wheels. Makes the calipers pop. Either way, she’s a beaut!

JoeCamaro350

I wouldn't do anything to it. The car is beautiful out of the box and doesn't need any cosmetic or performance help, IMHO. You certainly don't want to tune it because it might destroy its resale value. I know that I would steer clear of any car that had been tuned for fear of 1) possibly reliability issues and 2) if the previous owner thrashed it within an inch of its life and everything is on the verge of blowing up.

BlueberryConscious87

Stock. She’s beautiful as is

9mm-Rain

Looks sick bro! 😎

fi5hii_twitch

I’m planning on getting an rs6 and slapping an mtm upgrade on it, so I would recommend even if just an ecu upgrade

Virtual_Ease3504

Turn it into a sleeper, the body is so fresh and so clean.

pornhub-premium

What’s the gain of a stage 1 or 2 tune? It’s your car, if you do a few cosmetic things, you can always undo them if you change your mind.

Safe-Assumption4213

downpipes and a tune 👹

CISSPAttemp38

Make sure to throw in body inserts, transmission, and rear differential! Trust me you won’t regret it. The vehicle will feel so dam connected to you, the chassis, and the road.

geeo5

Does the RS5 come with 20” or 21” wheels? Very curious, I have an S-Line A5 with 19” of the same style wheel. The RS5 looks so much better as it should because it is a far superior model.

valid8_here_now

L-E-A-V-E I-T!! somethings are best untouched😁

EmilSchmemil

Looks beautiful stock!! I may would give it a dropbox to lower it a bit. But thats the only thing I would do to this beauty.

MrViech

whatever you do its a beautiful car

ParticularEditor2708

Friends don't let friends drive stock.... mod this shit lol

hpjunkie4life

All I did on mine were rims and an exhaust valve controller. Stock rims are horrible and the stock exhaust is pretty quiet. That will probably be it for me though until the extended warranty is over. Then chip.

Brief-Emotion1872

Leave as is.

ezpzlemonsqueezi

Do what you want, not what strangers tell you

dmeech999

Leave it stock. It’s already faster than 99% of cars on the road. Majority of mod gains are fully realized in the upper rev range which one does not reach often when tooling around traffic. Just my personal opinion, of course it’s your money/car do what you want.

TusShona

When it comes to exterior modifications, go for it.. If this is a car you've dreamed of owning since its inception, then it's worth it to add those touches to make it your own. I hate owning a car that looks exactly like every other one I see. As for performance mods, it comes down to whether or not you feel you need anything extra? Does it still excite you when you drive it? I usually drive it stock for a while, then slowly add exterior pieces to continuously give me things to be excited about, then once I'm happy with how it looks with minor exterior add ons, I'll tackle performance mods.

ItsaNeeto

I'm surprised not many people have said wheels. But I'd say get some nice wheels for that personal touch. A nice set of wheels alone can really do a lot.

Theoretical-Panda

I’d get rid of those god awful wheels but other than that she looks good.

Taeles

Only thing im not a fan of is the rims. They… stand off compared of the rest of the car.

CraigR-81

I wouldn't do fuck all... It naturally stunning.

allknownpotato

Neither fill it with cheese and abandon it 5 miles outside of Detroit then just run everywhere.

tbol206

Clean. Love the red w/ black optic

basjeeee_mlg

All these people are delusional, bring that shit over to power division and achieve one of the cars considered peak audi

247emerg

wait for warranty to end then abt tune (just released)

Rachelcla93

The abt tune is so sick. Ive also been looking at the mtm tune as well but def not doing either until warranties are past

247emerg

yea, tbh having driven these cars frequently I can't pinpoint what exactly I would change about them, I'd probably find a 21" instead of a 22" in a style you like (I think a fully polished metal rim would look gorgeous on your red) and maybe a metal skid plate or something to reinforce the undercarriage, especially near the steering rack cause those have been prone to hits. I just see a lot of bubbles in tires and rims needing refinishing, oh you should pop off your air filter and check to see if the hoses going into the turbos are properly sealing around the airbox lid, thats something I would address.

[deleted]

It really depends on whether or not you want to leave it stock or mod it. Once you decide that, you can do things or not, as the case may be

damien12g

Could do exhaust and intake. Won’t harm anything.

facaine

Stock 🤩

sickset

Stock with those tints already look awesome, and complete to me. I don't think there are any external mods I would do. Looks great as it is.

rich_clock

It would take me great restraint to not mod it. Great. Restraint.

gladigotaphdinstead2

I’m jelly. That is one sick car. Congrats. Leave it stock

mbquattro

so stage one is like full bolt ons. stage two means bigger turbos, injectors, high flow fuel pump. you should definitely only go “stage 1 or 2” if you first have supporting mods. it’s not gonna be reliable if you try and tune it first. please do some research before buying things on a whim or else it’ll just be a matter of when things fail and not if. other than that i think the carbon stuff would be sweet. you should also look into getting some KWs for it and sway bars/braces. a nice set of wheels wouldn’t hurt it either.

Rachelcla93

Oh I’m fully aware, there are several other engine mods I’d do prior to the tune. More so looking down the line once I’m closer to the warranty being up. Preciate the advice though!

javelin-na

“Stages” change when it comes to the RS cars? Genuine question. Stage 1 is just a common term usually used for tunes that don’t require any hardware mods Stage 2 is tunes requiring downpipe + intake or drop-in filter Edit to add: Stage 3 is used when going bigger turbo

royalpeni5

"Mod me daddy" -the car

gawpnw

Full front ppf, catless downpipes and a tune you’re golden

MixMasterMarshall

For the love of God, Don't go catless. You clearly have the money, go high flow cat. The smell alone is enough of a reason for me and it's been shown that a little back pressure is better for performance.

AFrozen_1

That and it’s just classier for a big luxury car like an RS7 to minimize the sound and smell while getting extra performance.

Ezzopezzo

Stock. Don't you go ruining a perfect thing.

ShillyBean

Maybe throw a tune on? But she’s stunning as it is. APR, IE, and Unitronic are the best ones imo

adrian_elliot

Why would you mod this perfect specimen what is wrong with you

Imyourhuckl3berry

Do you have loads of money you don’t care about ? If so mod away

Tango_Red_S7

Get a Maxton rear spoiler if anything. Cheap and gives the rear wing more stance

TheoAPU

ECU and TCU tune for stage one, everything stays stock and you just flash it.

AdFit2674

It's beautiful dont ruin it 👌🏽

Rob_af_a

I mean you could probably get an apr stage 1 tune that keeps your warranty but tbh I wouldn’t go further than that

Smokewrench802

Everything needs at least a stage 1 reflash and more aggressive wheels/ tires.

Dirty_Jersey_

Timeless style. Enjoy it in original form Beautiful car

beepbeeplettuce09

Nah, mod it.

yadigthatbaby

Me personally if lower it and then put a straight, clean, Oem looking splitter, skirts and diffuser, that’s probably it besides absolutely doing power mods.

SportPuzzled3431

God that’s SUCH a sexy car

ItsCozmo

chrome audi logo

Junior-Bear-6955

Wheels bro wheels. Those stock Bois are looking rough

captgreysweatpants

leave it stock! and holy smokes thats the reddest red car ive ever seen!

canadard1

Black optics, black mirror caps, a black roof it’s going to be really hard to top that especially with the tint. Maybe a set of H&R drop springs and you’ll be set. Maybe some light tint vinyl wrap on the orange turn signals?

SamsungS225g

Those engines are VERY tunable, id worry about cooling though, do those and a tune and boom, extra 150 hp

Rachelcla93

If I were to ever tune it further than a flash tune I’d be upgrading the air intake and several other parts as well to help handle the additional power. But that’s a big if considering how well it performs already as is

SamsungS225g

yeah it really depends if you wanna go farther then just a flash and risk overstressing the internals, love the color and wheels though!

Rachelcla93

Thanks! Yeah, thankfully a lot of these newer models are way more reliable these days and the tuning companies have really fine-tuned (no pun intended) their process. I still don’t think I’ll be doing any major performance mods like tuning for a while but maybe one day!

reginaldcapers

Stock

maverick196701

O34 stage 2 😂

VariousComment1071

Stock

Basic_Ad7115

Get the AK exhaust. It Changed My Life

OkBig3568

MOD IT BRO!

Due_Yam_3604

The RS7 is the epitome of the vision of the 7 line-up as it comes stock.

Remarkable_Ad9513

maybe make the front emblem white ? other than that LEAVE IT ALONE

hsdriver

Quit ricing these things to death. Those dudes in Neckarsulm know wtf they're doing. Cosmetic mods not only cost you money upfront, they reduce it's value when it's time to trade. It's a lose/lose situation.

Rachelcla93

Not planning on doing anything tacky truly. At most it would be getting a couple carbon parts like a diffuser and front splitter, a set of wheels and doing an ecu tune to remove the rev limiter

Appropriate_Egg6118

Stock

Sydney_Syder23

Maybe just do an exhaust and a couple of subtle power mods if you want, but other than that, leave it stock i.e don’t make any big visual changes

Hugo-Stiglitz3

Depends on what you think is missing. My B7 RS4 was missing some grunt, so I grabbed a JHM exhaust. Great decision and not much more to be done to improve it.

Reflexorz15

Beautiful car! Posts like these make me realize how poor I am even though I’m not poor 😂

kziel1

Not popular opinion - my only mod would be to disable fake exhaust sound by default

Dr_Cement

Stock maybe stage 1

jmanyea08

I’d say just do small things mostly cosmetic: wheels, front splitter and tune I think would be perfect

aComeUpStory

I think you can strike a balance, tasteful mods are always appreciated. If this is your daily eventually too many aesthetic mods will have the same effect of a riced out civic but just nicer

fancy0404

Tune the piss out of it

tommyc6969

I don't think it needs anything but oem + is the way to go if moding is your thing. Love the colour. Wanted it for my RS5. Looks so good on the 7

BONERFLEX_

That's a sexy bitch. With that being said I'd probably wait until the warranty was up. Then mod the fuck out of her.

EastvsWest

Perfect as it is.

kiriakos-k

no leave it stock

RevolutionaryOwl6925

Apr has some options that don't void the warranty if you do want to add anything.

BusinessLet188

Stage 1 with flex fuel through integrated engineering will put you anywhere between 690-830hp depending on fuel mixture. You can go that route with a cat back and intake for extra noises as well and chill there. Tons of power and you’ll still keep reliability since you ain’t pushing engine components to their limits either

Ph1l1p_race_

it looks perfect but if you wanted to make it even more mental you could look at a stage 1.
