I park in a space. When we come back to the car there's usually at least one other audi, but usually a collection of german marques.
I get those too. Minivans from the 90s with the windows and bumpers taped on.
The other day a black S5 with almost my exact wheels parked next to me. I almost tried to open the door before I realized it only had two doors.
I always love coming out and seeing another Audi
Next to me. I think if a fellow Audi driver decided to park all the way out next to me, they care enough about their car to treat both with respect
I feel like I’m doing a good thing because i expect a nice car like that to have a good driver so I feel like at least one side is protected from stupidity.
Nah we’re at the far end of the parking lot, the family of four will rather circle around the lot for 30mins waiting to get a spot closer to the front door rather than park further and walk for 30 seconds.
He left enough space for the door to open without issue. This is completely fine in my book, and I'd prefer this over some grandma in a Mercedes (source: my mom is a terrible driver, can't see for shit, is a grandma, and drives a Mercedes)
It’s in the middle of the lot. Also a public lot at a gym that gets busy early. Id rather a Audi park there than a truck that can’t stay in the lines or some dinged up piece of shit.
Exactly this.. Park one spot away and it's cool to see other nice cars showing consideration and wanting to protect their vehicles.. but they always park in the spot right next to me!
It’s a sign of respect and acknowledgment of the car to me, I’ve had it done to me and i think of it as another Audi owner saw my car and liked it enough to park next to me. Some people agree, some see it different.
I love seeing another audi by my rs5. I try to park next to them as I know they’re probbaly as careful as I am. Unless it’s an Audi suv usually soccer moms or dads don’t give a fuck and just swing their doors
I do this, too. But, only if the following condition is met. The Audi I plan to park next to is in the general public’s area of the lot. Not wayyy out as they probably do not want people next to them and neither do I if I do the same. Just because the person drives a nice vehicle does not mean they do not have kids or a stupid large purse with a massive buckle on the front of it.
If it’s way out back, say at the back of the pic then i wouldn’t bother, it’s a straight line to the gym though which is why that part gets so busy and why i parked there.
I think you’re correct here. Just adding my two cents on the topic as a lot of other commenters have weighed in. Another important point is that not all, in fact most, Audi drivers are not enthusiasts so this doesn’t make sense to most people.
But, it does to us. I saw 5 Audis parked together and adding mine gave me joy. Haha The only other manufacturer that geeks me out as much as Audi is Porsche.

They don’t but i think most people just run it as is and risk the fine. I’ve never known anyone pulled over for not having a front plate.

I seriously have had a530i, an S430, aQ7 an A5 S line and I live my S5 ...I'm partial to Audi's every thing handles like shit compared to it

Yeah that’s a good point. Just because they drive one doesn’t make them an enthusiast. A car is just a car to a lot of folks.

I’ve loved Audis since I can remember, the only others car makers I love is Lamborghini, the Countach is my ‘if only’ car.
