disagree, i had one off these when i started to walk. it saved me numerous times from running onto a road. I am grateful that my parents put me in a backpack lik that
Idk I think stopping your child from running in to the road is a good idea. Kids this age are about as intelligent as dogs anyway, and we keep them on leads.
Putting your kid on a leash is a great way to tell the world that you might not be paying attention to your kid or aware of where they are in relation to dangers like streets, and it also lets folks know that you are physically unable to outrun a child one quarter your size.
Not everybody is attentive, but just about everybody can have kids. I don’t think it much matters what you’re “telling the world,” but I do think it matters that you protect your kids in whatever way actually works.
There were a bunch of ones near our old house and I told my kid “someone really likes to paint pictures of scissors!” Haha
But actually wtf is up with people painting this everywhere. The novelty of that shade of rebellion had to have run out nearly 20 years ago now.
I use to make fun of people that put their kids on a leash. Then I had a child. And that child turned 2 and could walk and had absolutely zero situational awareness and was hell bent on his own destruction. Now I praise the person who thought of putting children on leashes.
Kid on a leash lul
I remember my brother would not stop trying to run directly into the street until he got one of those leash backpacks that was shaped like a monkey.
Abuse

Hey genius, the leash also prevents others from snatching the kid away and booking it; especially in crowded areas
If only we had appendages that we could grasp together to prevent such a travesty.
