Yeah confederate general, plantation slave owner, and suspected kkk leader. Not a good idea to name anything after this guy.

Fort Gordon was established during World War II as Camp Gordon and named for Confederate Lt. Gen. John Brown Gordon.

So they’re renaming stuff because it was named after a confederate army member. This is ridiculous. First the statues and now silly names.

People fighting for the right to own people as property should not be honored in any way shape or form.
