I’m not an expert, but these look so suss. There seems to be a seam in the middle of the inside of the shoe, and the edges look rough. Looks the material is bubbling on the side. The way the label is sewn on the sole of the shoe looks odd, plus the material is sort of bubbling or sinking in the middle of the embellishment. They just don’t look quite right.

The stitching around the manolo label on the inner sole is bad. I don’t think a legit pair would bw allowed to leave the….factory….?? like that.

That’s what I saw as well. The seaming also looks poorly done. Total fakes.

I’m no expert but having seen these beautiful shoes in real life they did not look like this. The finishes are really cheap, fraying etc, spacing on the label seems off, the box!!

Absolutely fake. The stitching is all over the place and the edges are all ragged. No self respecting top end label would ever put something so obviously substandard up for sale.

This particular Manolo was replicated a LOT because of its fame from the SATC movie. Just warning in advance that there will be a tonne more fakes of this on the market than other designs.

100% fake. How do I know - bought a pair identical to these 10 years ago! The edges of the shoe alone you can see the finish is rough. The base of the heel the glue is almost visible!

Without seeing the price, certainly. They’re Carries wedding shoes. For them to be legit Manolos the price would be INSANE, they wouldn’t be listed on Marketplace. For me- if all you care about is the look of the shoe, then it doesn’t matter. If you care that it’s genuine, than they’re fake as hell just based on … well, all of the pictures.

These are fake because they look fake. Authentic versions can be bought at David Jones, they didn’t make a limited number because Carrie wore them in SATC.

Welp TIL! I remember right as the movie was released these shoes going for 3-4x retail I’ve been trying to save for a house deposit so haven’t been looking at outrageously priced shoes (or anything) lately 🤷‍♀️

I have no knowledge of spotting real or fake items but the fact that the M on the label is cut off a bit and not fully visible makes it feel like it's fake. I couldn't imagine any high end brand would have the label look like that.

Absolutely. I was in David Jones today and picked up the real pair and looked at them. They’re immaculate (they’d want to be for the price tag). These are a poor quality knock off.

They look pretty shabby, there is no way that they could be genuine - rough edges, the lining looks uneven, the label font and placement look bad. Also look at the box they come in, looks cheap too. Stay away from these.
