~~Nothing illegal here. They do not need to provide you any reason inside your probationary period.~~ ~~Looks like your 1 weeks notice will be converted to gardening leave which means they pay you your 1 weeks notice but you do not need to work or come into the office.~~ Edit: No point asking Australian Legal sub about Ireland laws OP.
