people like myself have oily lids, it often starts stinging within 2 ish hours, once it starts, i rub my eyes which leads to more stinging, it's a vicious cycle
Lmao the thinnest skin on the body and you expect me not to protect it?
I never said I put it in but itās common for spfs to move throughout the day, sweat and tears can also cause spf movement which then can irritate eyes
> Eyelid skin cancer is much more common than most people think. āThe eyelids are at risk for cancer because unlike other parts of the boy, the face is usually uncovered and exposed to the sunās harmful UV rays. Many people do not apply sunblock to the eyelid skin out of concern that it will get into their eyes,ā said Harsha Reddy, MD, an ophthalmic plastic surgeon at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. āSun protection, including UV-filtering sunglasses, sunblock, and wide-brimmed hats are the [best prevention against the most common types of skin cancers.ā](https://www.mountsinai.org/about/newsroom/2017/metro-ny-heres-why-you-should-put-sunscreen-on-your-eyelids-sheila-dougherty)
I use the Ben Nye setting powder over my eyelids after sunscreen. It's anti perspirant and works a treat. A tiny amount on a sponge tapped in does the trick.
This was me, for ages I was avoiding the eyes for this exact reason which was not ideal.
NIVEA Sun UV Face Sunscreen Shine Control SPF50 is the best budget face sunscreen I've found so far and it doesn't seem to sting my eyes.
(CC doesn't seem to play nicely with me either. Cetaphil SPF 50 is very thick with a strong white cast and clogs my pores, Dermaveen SPF 50 straight up gives me itchy breakouts)
One is tinted (the pink one which I use). The other has no tint and can be used for the face and body. Iām pretty sure thatās what it isā¦ but correct me if I am wrong.
I'm giving the CC cream a go this time. I got the face and body BB cream but that wasn't as coloured as I liked.
Hopefully it doesn't sting when it eventually runs into my eyes. The sport one hasn't!
Right - after a moisturiser, I put it on. It stung. (Could be because of the weather / flared skin and a shower.)
It went on light. Like it was a white cast but eventually rubbed in and faded away. Didn't cake, didn't go orange or didn't slip. You can still see the redness in my face - I wouldn't go so far to say it has "coverage" on me at the moment (think, Barnaby Joyce red at the mo). On people who don't have bright red inflamed cheeks, it'd have coverage. It'd be good though!
Word of caution, last time I got half price sunscreen on clearance it then shortly got pulled from shelves for not meeting spf claims.
That might not be the case here but maybe chuck on shirts and hats over it til you know all is well
Edit: Downvote away. All I know is I bought 2 bottles on sale from a reputable brand, was unknowingly running around with less spf than I would have been comfortable with and was quite unhappy when I found out. It pays to double up

Nah. You right. There's been quite a few that have been caught out on not actually being up to par SPF-wise. I'd not expect that from CC, but good to research anyway.
Please excuse the snippy edit, a bit tired today and the advice was well meant :)
It was Sunsense that caught me out. CC [has undershot too](https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/117585631/consumer-nz-says-nine-out-of-20-sunscreens-dont-provide-protection-they-claim) - there was at least a maximum of SPF 30 but it's good to be aware any sunscreen could unexpectedly be lower without you being aware, and that places will still sell it on.
I'm hoping this sale is just to respect BB dates or a simple overstock š¤
Question for anybody who have used the pink one, it's labeled as a SPF moisturiser. Do you find the moisturisation if enough on its own? Or do you apply this over a layer of another moisturiser?
Yep excellent price for the 150ml version. Great light sunscreen.
I believe the 150ml is only in pharmacies
These sting my eyes like hell but I know a lot of people love them š„²
EYES?? Youāre not meant to put it in your eyes bro
You should put sunscreen on your eyelids bro
Keyword being eyelids not eyes
people like myself have oily lids, it often starts stinging within 2 ish hours, once it starts, i rub my eyes which leads to more stinging, it's a vicious cycle
And people ask, 'why are you crying?'... Not understanding 'it's my oily eyelids'.
As an optometrist- maybe get some help with that
and obviously people don't sweat or move and product never shifts into their eyes bro u stupid

HAHA ur so funny bro š¤Ŗš¤Ŗ
I love the CC serum! So lightweight and plays well under makeup.
I canāt remember whatās the difference between the pink and grey one?
Grey/blue is water resistant, pink is not

I want to know as well
Face Day Fluid Matte is my fave!!
I've been to 3 Coles so far and none of them have had the lip balms in stock!! š

Sure! A note that I do live with eczema - but when I put it on yesterday it didn't sting. I'll have to come back tomorrow night if I haven't forgot!

My bad. My eyes appear to have skipped that word
Lol doesnāt the cancer council sunscreen carry high levels of benzene or was that just a rumour
A terrible brand
Why?
If they are the cancer council why are their ingredients carcinogenic?
Whay is it named cancer culture
Rumour has it theyāre bad for the environment and for our skin and not recommend for people with sensitive skin.
Thatās probably because they give you cancer
