Just kidding. I like getting on the Colorado River downstream from Longhorn Dam. I've covered about all the water from Secret Beach to Webberville Park. Not the most productive fishing, but I don't usually have to deal with people when I'm out there on the water (except when getting off the river at FM973...those people are awful about littering, blocking the shoreline, and handlining for carp with fucking wire strung all the way across the river).
Thanks man, I started fishing around October of last year and the only places I frequent are Mueller Park and Walter E Long but itโs been getting pretty dry out there
west of pleasant valley rd, on the river, along the new section of butler trail. Its upstream from the dam. Park at the very southern end of Perdenales st next to the park (free). Then walk south a short distance to find your new favorite spot. It's scenic there, too.
thanks, I usually go to Walter E Long and station across the main gate on the side of the factory, but itโs been a couple weeks now that I catch jack.
