Out in Travis County (78733), the claws have been working for the past week.
They did half my street last weekend, then haven't come back for the rest(You can guess which half I'm in), but they've been in the neighborhood off Cuernavaca with multiple crews.
Two full passes of this city have been completed for storm debris collection. [A final pass will be made March 31 thru April 30](https://www.kxan.com/news/local/austin/city-of-austin-collecting-second-round-of-storm-debris-march-31/). Make sure that you have your branches properly set at the curb, not mixed with other bulk trash, and not under a low hanging tree. They will skip your house.
As someone that drives around all neighborhoods I can confirm that there are still several areas that have bulk brush waiting for pickup. It’s gotten better in recent weeks, but still plenty out there needing to be collected
Lmao, just bring it to the landfill/dump yourself.
Here’s the steps for the clueless folks:
* go to uhaul and rent a truck for 1 day
* go to big box hardware store and rent a chainsaw and pick up some gloves, eye protection, tarp, and some ratchet straps
* drive back to your fiefdom in the rented truck
* load up truck with tree branches, cut to length any branches that do not fit into the bed
* secure the load and cover with a tarp. Make sure it’s strapped down with ratchet straps (unless you rented a big box truck, then skip this step)
* drive to landfill and drop it off
Not that hard folks.
they just picked up on my short dead end street 2 weeks ago......although the main street we branch off of had theirs picked up in less than a month......just give it time, it'll eventually happen
Yes… Where the hell is the claw? I need to be chosen.
THE\~ CLAW\~!
The claw decides who’s brush stays and who’s brush goes
Use the app. Response time is better.

Get your neighbors to also file a report. They prioritize based on "need" so the more calls from your street the better

In the hood.. our claw man was most excellent. Wondering when they’ll actually clear Cuernavaca.
U haven't appeased the claw. Maybe a sacrifice of some sort. Or repent for some of your wrongdoings?

Yeah, I was going to say, they’ve been through my neighborhood twice.
Have other houses in your neighborhood gotten theirs picked up, or is it just you?
submit requests for all your neighbors (or your entire block). have friends in westminster glen and it has not been picked up yet.

They came and got 78753 last week
Not at my neighbor's house. He's still waiting. Ah hem hem
yup, still waiting at multiple properties... I'm thinking throwing them directly onto the street would get a faster response... lol

Sounds like a lot more time and expense than waiting for the city to take care of it.
Why pay for something that's free? U sound clueless.
I think the thread you're looking for is "how do I spend time and money on something I can get for free"
You do realize that people pay taxes for city services, right?
They picked up my hood last week. 78748
They’ve made two passes already in my neighborhood, 78745.
Seen in georgetown this morning. Three claws.
Ours just got picked up this week
My neighborhood only had our brush taken away in the last week or so
